Hanaa's POV
August first, and it was my dress appointment. Stormie drove me, her, and Rydel to the shop. The saleslady we had last time welcomed us warmly, then ushered me into a fitting room to change.
As I slipped into the dress, I noticed it was just as beautiful as it was the year before.
As I stood on a pedestal, the saleslady made all of the necessary alterations, though they were very minor.
I walked out by Stormie and Rydel, and we looked for a veil. I finally decided on one that would clip in right near my head if my hair was in a bun or pontytail. It cascaded lightly over my hair and ended in the middle of my back. I thanked the lady and asked if they could drop it off at the small house by the clearing the wedding was at noon, two hours before the ceremony began.
I pulled out my checkbook to pay for the dress, but Stormie pushed me out of the way.
"Mark and I have got this dear," she told me.
I tried to protest, but she wouldn't hear of it.
My dress was bought. That was one less weight off my shoulders.
It was a heavy one too.
