Hanaa's POV

I sobbed into Riker's shoulder. We sat like that for what seemed like forever, in the hospital room. I soon realized Riker was crying. Rocky was his brother.

"L-let's go home," I stammered.

Riker nodded and we slowly walked back.

When we got there, the whole family was waiting expectantly to see why I ran off. I burst into tears again, and Ryland came to comfort me because Riker was crying softly with his head in his hands.

The Lynches managed to get the story out of us, and when they did we all turned into one big crying blob.

After we had calmed down, we went back to the hospital to visit Livvie and Rocky. Soon a doctor walked in.

"Are any of you related to... Rocky Lynch?" he asked.

Stormie and Mark stepped forward. "We're his parents," Stormie said.

The doctor led them out into the hall and started talking to them. Stormie looked like she was about to cry, but she didn't. Stormie and Mark both nodded to the doctor and came back into the room.

"Th-they have t-to take him i-in to surgery," Stormie stammered.

We heard Livvie cry out. "Why!?"

"The bullet is too far into his shoulder to remove like they did Livvie's," Mark's voice wavered.

A strangled cry escaped Rydel's mouth.

"How long will it take?" I asked.

"About 4 hours at the most," Mark answered.

"Why don't we go home for a bit," Riker suggested.

We all agreed. Before we could leave, a doctor came in.

"Well, I've looked over Livvie's reports, and the wound isn't too serious, so she can go home," he told us. "You'll have to wear this sling and come in every two weeks though," he said, now speaking to Livvie.

Livvie nodded vigorously. Soon enough we were all ready, but before we could leave Rydel stopped at the front desk.

"Could you please call us when Rocky is out?" she asked.

"Of course," the nurse answered. "Just write down your phone number here."

Rydel wrote it down, and we all left, our faces slack and unsmiling.

Hours later, we got a call.

"He's okay, and he can come home," the doctor said. We all cheered. "Just take it easy for a bit."

"Can he play his guitar?" Ross cut in.

"Uhh I guess," the doctor answered.

Rocky came home, and mostly slept. He didn't feel up to doing anything until about 4 days later.
