Hanaa's POV
Tears sprang into my eyes.
"Oh my god Riker," I whispered. "Thank you."
He smiled at me. "Anything."
I stood on my tiptoes and kissed his lips.
"It's wonderful, but let's get going. We don't want to miss our reception." I smiled.
"Of course not," Riker replied.
He led me back outside and into the van. Rocky started it and drove us to the banquet hall the reception was in.
We went into the lobby and were about to step into the large room our guests were when Rocky stopped us.
"I got this."
He threaded his way through the crowd and up to the small stage in front. He picked up a microphone and cleared his throat, attracting people's attention. The buzz of talking slowly died away.
"As you all know, we are here to celebrate the everlasting bond between two very special people. And now, Mr. And Mrs. Riker Lynch!"
He threw his hand to the door, and we took that as our cue. Riker and I entered the hall and applause filled our ears.
"Let's see a kiss from the happy couple!" Rocky more demanded than suggested.
Riker smirked at me, dropping me down so his hand on my back was holding me up and he was bent over me. He pushed his lips to mine, and I wrapped my arms around his neck.
Soon, Riker stood back up, swinging me with.
"Ooohhhhh!!" Rocky called.
I blushed deep red and Riker laughed.
"Ignore him," he muttered.
I laughed back. "Whatever," I said. "Just kiss me again."
"All right." The corner of his mouth turned up.
And we kissed.
