Hanaa's POV
I could still taste the metallic taste of blood on his lips, but I didn't care. He kissed back and we sat in silence like that for what seemed like forever.
Soon, I pulled away and gave him a small smile. I then went to soak the bloodied rag in the sink.
Riker padded after me into the bathroom. I plugged the sink and started to fill it with cold water. When it was full enough for my liking, I turned the water off and dropped the rag in. Almost immediately, the sinkful of water turned a pale pink.
"That's a lot of blood!" I said, astounded.
"I'd smile," Riker replied, "But I'd just crack my lip again."
I laughed softly. "We wouldn't want that, now would we?"
Riker gave a little cough, which qualified as a laugh, then took my hand.
"Let's go have that lazy week, huh?"
I nodded and let him lead me downstairs, to where my second favorite Disney movie of all time, Robin Hood, was in. I squealed.
"Riker! Thank you!"
One corner of his mouth turned up. "You're welcome."
"You know me so well," I praised, cuddling into his side.
That week, Riker and I stayed home watching Disney movies. We had pancakes for dinner, chicken-cheddar spaghetti for breakfast.
We went back to our childhood, having fun with no stress at all.
Then came Kristie's party.
