"Okay I will come back with your brother in 3 hours make sure everything is set for you brother's party. I left everything you need and don't forget to go get the cake! And his friends should be coming soon. Are you sure you and Beau can do it?" My mom asked.
Today was my little brother's party and I was in charge of it. Beau decided to come with me and help which would make it easier.
"Yes mom. I'll call you if something goes wrong." I said giving her a hug and saying goodbye before she came downstairs with me were my brother and Beau was. She walked out with him which left me and Beau alone. I waited till she left and started to get all the things.
"Want me to call the boys up? It will be easier." Beau asked and I nodded.
He called them and told them to get cake and they did what they were told and came to my house with my brother's birthday cake which was shaped as a blue car.
"This cake is so cool!" Jai said like a kid making me laugh. We started to decorate and we had an hour to get everything all done and make sure all the kids came. I got my present that I got for him out of my room and set it on the present table.
I started to put up signs that said 'happy birthday' and they age he was turning I went upstairs to get more tape and when I came back down the boys were blowing up my biggest fear.
Balloons.
My heart started to race and I started to sweat just standing awkwardly on my stairs with wide eyes.
I have always had globophobia, which a balloon fear, since I was 1. I don't know why but they have always freaked me out.
"Y/N are you okay?" I heard Beau say making me snap out of my thoughts. My palms were sweaty. I can't let them know. They will just laugh at me. "Yeah F-Fine" I said coming slowly down the stairs I went were they were and tried to pretend that they weren't blowing up balloons.
The boys started hitting each other without them then I got hit with one. I screamed and ran upstairs into my room sat on my bed and cried.
The chaos from downstairs stopped and I heard someone come up the stairs then heard a slight knock on my door.
"Y/N?" Beau said soft and quietly.
I wiped my tears away and stood up coming closer to Beau, "What's wrong? Did we hurt you or something."
He asked putting his arms on my waist, pulling me closer.
"N-No I-I just have globophobia." I said crying putting my arms around his neck and pulling him into a short hug.
"Oh. What the fuck is that?" He said giving me a confused look making me laugh.
"It's basically a balloon fear. Yeah I'm afraid of balloons just make fun of me already." I said putting my head down.
"Babe I didn't know sorry." He said putting his hand on my chin lifting it up putting a sweet kiss on my lips.
"I don't know why my mom brought them! She knows I have globophobia." I said then Beau's eyes got wide.
"Um if I knew you were afraid of them I wouldn't of done this. But I told the boys to bring some cause I didn't see any so yeah sorry." He said putting his head down.
"It's fine, can you just get them out please." I said and he nodded going downstairs. I heard the door shut multiple times then it stopped.
"Okay you can come down now!" Beau yelled and I headed down the stairs. I looked around and didn't see anymore balloons which made me sigh in relief.
"Sorry Y/N" All the boys said and I said it was okay. Soon enough my brother's friends came and my mom and my brother came back. He loved his party and cake especially. It was a fun day and I got to spend time with Beau too.
