The soundless nights
Seem to echo by
And the sun slowly disappears
Into the dark sea
That we call a sky.
Stars swim in the black sea
As we sleep we are unaware
That slowly one by one
They begin to disappear
So many of them are there
That we do not notice.
One by one
They are swallowed up
Into the vast emptiness
Of the dark, black sea
That we call a sky.
We are to blind to see
And to blind to notice
Until one day nothing is there
And only the moon is there
To shed a night light
Until that too, is swallowed
And the sky is suddenly
More empty than ever.
When all this happens
The world too, will be swallowed
Until there is nothing left
But a black sea
Of pure
Emptiness.
