Chapter 20: Family Night Out

~~Raven's POV~~

"Ugh," I groaned. "I think I might have to call one of the girls. Or at least Roxie." We're having a big family night out tonight, and I plan on telling everyone about my promotion at work, but I don't know that to wear. I heard my phone go off from the bed, so I went over and picked it up.

"Speak of the devil," I smirked, seeing that it was a text from Roxy.

Roxie- Hey! What's up?

Raven- Just trying to figure out what to wear tonight

Roxie- What's tonight?

Raven- A big family dinner with the guys and my parents

Roxie- I'll be there in 15

Raven- Thank you!! <3

Roxie- Don't thank me yet ;)

Raven- Should I be scared?

Roxie- Nope

I laughed and went into the bathroom to wash my face and brush my hair back into a ponytail, knowing she was gonna put makeup on me. After I was done, I went into the living room and put in David Bowie's album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, then grabbed a bottle of Coke from the fridge.

we had five years left to cry in" his voice filled the apartment and I sang along. He's always been one of my favorites, and it us all pretty hard when we learned that he passed, along with Lemmy from Motorhead. I sat on the couch and decided to troll the chat forums on the Avenged Sevenfold website. I like to go in and reply to fans about certain things, like are they talking about tours, did they like the show they did that night, how was the crowd, have any of the guys gotten any new tattoos.

deathbat_2001943: Is Syn's sister gonna be on another tour? I met her a few years ago and she was so sweet! I think she was like, 15 at the time? She was the nicest person ever and probably the most helpful merch girl I've ever bought things from.

"Oh how sweet," I mumbled as I typed in my reply.

MiniGates_1&Only: I was 16 ;) And yes, I have been invited to go on this upcoming tour with the guys and have accepted. I hope I'm just as helpful now as I was then! You're so sweet! I hope to see you again this time!

a-little-piece-of-the-revs-kick-drum: Are there going to be new songs performed during this year's tour?

MiniGates_1&Only: Hopefully, but I can't really promise anything. There's been talk, but no confirmation.

"I'm here," Roxie said, walking into the apartment with a bag and a shoe box in her hands.

"Just walk on in Rox," I rolled my eyes, smiling as I got up and walked over to give her a hug.

"Oh hush and tell me when you have to be there," she said, hugging me back.

"I have to be at the restaurant by six," I laughed, pulling away.

"It's four thirty. You're giving me an hour and a half to work with?" she asked.

"Sorry," I shrugged.

"Just go put these on," she said, placing the bag in my hands and pushing me towards my room.

"Alright," I laughed, closing the door behind me. I set the bag on my bed next to Pandora, who was sleeping. I pulled out a pair of tights that had a skull pattern and a black collared zip front dress. "Nice choices Roxie." I pulled off my tank top and sweatpants, then slipped my legs into the tights and pulled on the dress, zipping the front all the way up.
