"You ready?" Liam popped his head into the bathroom and I nodded, shutting my straightener off.

I walked to the bedroom and grabbed my sweater, slipping on my Converse. I adjusted my jeans so that they wouldn't fall down and shut the light off, putting my phone in my back pocket. Liam grabbed my hand as we walked out to his car and he opened my door for me, doing a small bow. I laughed and climbed in, buckling my seat belt.

He pulled out of the driveway and we began making our way to the fair that was only a few miles away. Liam sang off-pitched to the songs on the radio and I couldn't help but laugh, intertwining our fingers across the center console. Liam toyed with my fingers in his and I leaned back in the seat, watching the passing of the city.

We finally made it to the fair and Liam parked in the grass, holding my hand as we walked through the gates. Liam paid for us and I sent him a glare, hating how he always pays. Liam just rolled his eyes and slung an arm over my shoulders, leading me to a ride. It was one of the spinny ones and I smiled; these are my favorite.

"I might puke on you." He mumbled in my ear as we stood in the small line and I laughed, looking up at him.

"If you do, you will be sleeping on the couch." I bit my lip and Liam laughed, tugging me closer to him. "Don't laugh, I'm serious."

"Babe, we both know that won't happen." Liam said as we sat down in the ride.

"Stop." I laughed as Liam shoved a huge piece of cotton candy in my mouth. "You are awful."

"But you love me." He sang and I rolled my eyes. "Ferris wheel?"

I nodded and we made our way to the Ferris wheel. I leaned into Liam as we stood in line, tiredness creeping up on me. We got into our seat they put the bar over our laps, making sure that we were in. Liam put an arm around my shoulders and I rested my head on his shoulder, taking a deep breath as the cart rose.

"This is so cheesy." Liam spoke up after a while and I hummed in question. "We are at the top of the ferris wheel with cotton candy and the sunset."

"We are pretty cheesy." I couldn't help but laugh and I took a peek up at him.

Liam ducked his head and pressed his lips to mine, smiling a little. He cupped my cheek in his large hand and I tilted my head, allowing him to deepen the kiss. I felt the wind whip around us and I gripped the front of Liam's t-shirt, trying to keep warm.

"Excuse me." I pulled away and noticed that we were at the bottom of the ferris wheel. "Can you two please get off?"

"Sorry." I mumbled, my cheeks heating up, and we stood up, Liam grabbing my hand.

We left the ferris wheel in a fit of giggles and finally went back to the car. Once there, he pushed me up against the door, intertwining our fingers at my sides. I smiled a little and he toyed with the ring on my left hand, a smile reaching his lips.

"We should do stuff like this more often." He mumbled as we sat in the car and I nodded.

"We've become an old married couple who only has sex in bed at night." I laughed and Liam groaned.

"At least we keep the lights on." He joked and I laughed, looking over at him.

"Let's go get a dog." I suggested and he looked over at me with the biggest smile.

"Hell yeah." Liam said and parked in front of the house.

We got out and Liam automatically picked me up bridal style. I screamed out of surprise and he carried me inside, setting me on the counter. I smiled as he got out a tub of ice cream and two bowls, grabbing the chocolate syrup. He looked at the bottle before smirking and walking up to stand between my legs.

"Uh-uh. Hell no." I shook my head, knowing what he was thinking.

"C'mon, you said it yourself that you wanted to spice things up." He reasoned and I quirked an eyebrow at Liam.

"Not with chocolate syrup. I don't want that shit on my body." I laughed and Liam pouted.

"That's the fun part. I get to lick it all off." He leaned in close to me and I couldn't help but bite my lip at his words.

"Tempting, but no." I said and Liam groaned, moving his body like a two year old throwing a fit. "How would you like all that stuff up in your business?" I motioned to the boner in his jeans and Liam fell silent.

"Fine." Liam pouted, opening the syrup. "I get more on my ice cream, then."

I laughed and Liam scooped the ice cream out into the bowls, handing me the spoon with the leftover ice cream on it. I licked it off and stuck the spoon into my bowl, watching him put the chocolate on the ice cream. He grabbed the sprinkles out of the cabinet and pour some on. I grabbed my bowl and we sat in silence, eating our ice cream. Liam stood in between my legs and I finished off the bowl, setting it to the side on the counter.

"Welp, no need to make dinner now." Liam smiled and I laughed, letting him toy with my fingers in front of his chest.

"You need a haircut." I mumbled, running my fingers through the top of his hair.

"But then you won't have anything to hold on to." Liam winked and I gasped, hitting his arm.

"You're awful." I laughed and dropped my arms to his shoulders.

"What do you want for your birthday?" Liam spoke up and I cocked my head to the side. "It is next week."

"I don't need anything." I shrugged. I never liked celebrating my birthday. I hated the attention.

"It's the big two-five. You have to want something." He nudged his nose on my neck and I groaned.

"We're getting so old." I muttered.

"Don't remind me." Liam lightly laughed and looked up at me. "How about I take you to dinner and then we can have dessert back here."

"Sounds perfect." I smiled a little and Liam gave me a quick kiss. "Movie night?"

"Toy Story?" He asked, hopefully, and I nodded.

"Good with me."
