Tonight's references:
K-Middy, also known as Kate Middleton. Or the Duchess of Cambridge- wife of Prince William.
'Knickers in a twist' is the Brit way of saying panties in a twist. Getting worked up over nothing.
Also, as promised last week, chapter photo is of Daniel's grandmother from her younger days.

"I'm going to send you two photos and you have to give me your honest opinion, ok?"
"I'm driving, Sophie."
"Then pull over. Here's the first photo."
"Did you get it?"
"My phone buzzed, so I assume I did. I'm driving into a car park now. Hold on."
"..."
"It's nice. Is that what you're wearing?"
"It's a potential outfit. I'm sending you another photo."
"What do you think?"
"Both are very nice."
"But which will your grandmother like better?"
"Does it matter?"
"Daniel, we've been through this! I want her to like me."
"You're getting your knickers into a twist over nothing, Soph. She's going to like you whatever outfit you decide to wear."
"Daniel! Just choose a damn outfit!
"I don't know, the second?"
"What?! But I just changed back into the first!"
"Then wear the first."
"You're no help. Where are you anyway? You said you were only going to phone when you were close."
"I'm parked outside The Red Lion pub. Is that close?"
"Close?! You're practically around the corner! Argh, you could have given me a little more warning!"
"Stop stressing, Sophie!"
"But I haven't even had time to do my make up! Oh, gosh, this is a disaster."
"You don't need make up."
"But I do!"
"My grandmother will like you more if you don't wear make up."
"... She will?"
"... Yes?"
"Lies!"
"Haha, Sophie, you're freaking out over nothing. Jeez, get a grip."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Sophie?"
"What?"
"What are you doing? You're being quiet."
"I'm changing."
"Why?"
"Because you said outfit number two."
"I said either."
"Well, the first outfit was a little too K-Middy for my taste. The second is more me."
"Whatever. Does your parent's house happen to have a black wrought iron gate with a buzzer on it?"
"Uh, yeah. Why?"
"I'm about to buzz, then."
"You're here?"
"Yes."
"No, you were just around the corner. You can't be here."
"And yet, I am. Are you voluntarily coming out, or am I coming in to drag you out?"
"Just a minute. I need to grab your grandmother's photo. You did get a frame for it, didn't you?"
"Yes, it's right here on the passenger seat."
"Good. Ok, purse, lipstick, perfume... shit! I can't find my phone!"
"Sophie-"
"Shut up, Daniel. I need to find my phone!"
"Yeah, and I'm trying to help-"
"Then help by not distracting me!"
"You're on your phone. Yelling at me."
"Oh."
"Oh. Now, hurry up or we'll be late and then my grandmother will really hate you."
"I hate you."
"I know you do."
"I just need to grab my keys. Ok, I'm ready."
"Whoa!"
"What, what's wrong? You don't like my clothes, do you?"
"You look... you look good."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. Now, hurry up and get in the car."
"So damned pushy."
"You bet I am."
"Fine, I'm here now. Drive."
