"I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet."

"Haha, ok, I'll play this game."

"They say time's supposed to heal ya, but I ain't done much healing."

"Hello, can you hear me?"

"I'm in California dreaming about who we used to be."

"When we were younger and free."

"I've forgotten how it felt before the world fell at our feet."

"Ok, I'm done with this now."

"Pretty sure that's not the next line in the lyrics."

"I'm improvising."

"You're bad at improvising."

"Tired? It's the mid-day, Soph."

"Did you see Evelyn at all yesterday after our lunch meeting?"

"Funnily enough, I did not. She never came back to work. It's a good thing I need her in my life, otherwise I would have fired her for leaving me to survive on my own for five hours."

"I got your message, by the way."

"You did? You never called me back."

"I don't think I was in the right mind to call you back."

"Margaritas?"

"The whole cocktail menu."

"I did warn you."

"It was too late. That woman is wild."

"She needs to let her hair down every now and then. Just a shame she dragged you down that rabbit hole, too."

"Don't get me wrong, it was fun, but Evelyn is wild."

"Where did you end up? When Evie starts drinking, she likes to make a night of it."

"I'm well aware. We ended up going back to her house-"

"Her house?"

"Yeah."

"So you met Mr. Evelyn, then?"

"His name is Leighton, isn't it?"

"Yes, Leighton Mays. Were the children around?"

"Wait... I know the answer to this. Give me a second..."

"The kids were... Oh! They're at Grandma and Grandpa's house! Evelyn and Leighton are going up today for Easter. Bank Holiday and what not."
