Chapter 32

Madara's p.o.v

"How could this happen!!" Anything within my reach flew towards Kabuto until there was nothing left to throw except the floor itself. "Sasuke is stronger than I am.. I didnt anticipa-" "SILENCE! I won't have excuses for your failure, Kabuto. You track her down or you'll find out exactly why people quake at the mention of my name". Not only were my plans for edo tensei at risk but I had lost Mikio.. to him. He would die before he let any harm come to her.. there had to be away around it. I froze.. that was it! I had to make her trust me again.. easier said than done, but I am Madara Uchiha. I hurried outside and began tracking her.

"Madara" I turned to find my loyal follower Zetsu standing to my right. After hours of searching without so much as a strand of hair I knew we had hit the jackpot. I smirked "Show me".

I never thought I would be so happy to see Karin. She obliviously led us back to Sasuke's hideout, an abandoned building in the village hidden in the mist. "Let's go!" I gripped onto Kabuto's shirt before he could reveal our presence to Karin. "Fool. Sasuke will have her well protected. We must lure him out." I glanced at Zetsu out of the corner of my eye. "Understood" Atleast I had one follower who used his brains. The three former members of team TAKA had engaged Zetsu in battle but my target was nowhere to be seen.. had he seen straight through our plans? No.. maybe he cared not for his fellow teammates. "Kabuto" They had no chance once Kabuto joined the battle. He quickly injected Juugo and his curse mark receeded rendering him as useless as the girl. "SASUKE!" Her shrill cry echoed for miles but he was still a no show. Kabuto's kunai was centimetres away from her neck and I began to loose hope.. that was until Kabuto was blasted with chidori, his signature move. My plan was working. I backed away from the scene before me, ensuring that my chakra signature was well concealed. I sensed a very faint trail of a familiar chakra and climbed through an open window. Endless hallways with endless rooms attached and on the fifth level her chakra disappeared all together. I grinned "Oh Sasuke, your making this too easy". I opened the door to my right and sure enough, it was her room. She turned in my direction at the sound of the door but spoke not a word.. "Sasuke? Is that you Sasuke?" Her hands stretched out in front of her as she walked slowly in my direction.. she was blind. I felt a pang of guilt corse through my veins and settle in my stomach.. had I done this to her? I shook my head.. that didn't matter now. I had only a small window of oppertunity. There was just one problem.. how was I to cast a genjutsu on a person who couldn't see.
