4.7 "There's No Way"

The first day back to school after the exam week break is always the worst but for some unknown reason, I wasn't as grouchy as I thought I'd be. Who am I kidding, the only reason is because of what happened on Friday. I haven't been able to stop smiling this entire weekend and Calum is pretty much the main reason why. To be honest, nothing really changed except our relationship title. And I guess the romantic gestures between us but that's it. We treat and act around each other just like how we did when we were best friends. Being in a relationship with your best friend really is the best relationship. Juliet and Ashton were both so happy for me when I told them. 

"About fucking time". "Juliet stop swearing but I'm happy for you Hails".

I guess you would be able to tell who said what. 

"Hey girlfriend" someone said behind me wrapping their arms around my waist.

"Ew we're one of those couples" I jokingly grimace turning around to face him. 

"Lowkey just trying to show off the fact that you're my GIRLFRIEND" he semi shouted on the last word. I covered my face and laughed. 

"You're such a loser"

"But I'm your loser" he smiles and gives me a quick kiss. 

"You're also cheesy as fuck"

"But I'm your cheese"

"ok shut up, I'm leaving" I say closing my locker door.

"BYE GIRLFRIEND" he shouts laughing. I turn around to see him smiling and I laugh back shaking my head. I love this loser.

Calum's POV

I felt so happy ever since Friday and nobody could ever wipe this smile off of my face. I felt even better when I saw my beautiful girlfriend early in the morning. I love that I'd be able to show her off as mine now. I didn't care if I was an annoying loud fucker this morning and if anyone had a problem they can come up to me and say it to my face. Of course afterwards their face would be ruined, but at least they can say they had the balls to try standing up to me. 

"Hey Mikey" I meet him at his locker. 

"Why are you so happy, it's the first day back. An entire semester starts today" he slammed his locker shut and joined me onto my walk to my own locker. 

"Because dear Michael, I love life"

"If you don't tone down your happiness I'm going to have to leave you" he jokes. "I love how the roles are switched today"

"What do you mean?"

"Usually I'm the happy one and you're the grouchy one"

I shrug. "I guess but that was before I had the best girlfriend in the world"

"Yes yes I know 'Hailey Silverson is finally my girlfriend. The most beautiful girl in the world is mine'. I get it" he mocks my voice.

"Wow that was actually a pretty good impression. You should teach Ashton how to do impersonations better 'cause his Luke voice sucks" I laugh.

He laughs. "Oh so you know that chick I was dealing with since the New Years party?"

"Yea that girl you won't tell me about"

"Well obviously, what if I introduced you two then she goes for you instead of me and then you guys end up together"

I laugh. "That won't happen. Do I finally get to meet her?"

He nods. "Friday night, you, me, her and Hailey are going on a double date. Your girlfriend and my girlfriend"

"Which day is that?"
