Hailey's POV

I was in the middle of watching the newest episode of Teen Wolf since I haven't been able to watch it for the past couple of weeks because of exams when the doorbell rang. I groan knowing I would have to be the one to get to the door since no one else is at home at the moment. I pause my computer and head downstairs. I look through the peek hole and see Juliet standing at the front.

"Hey" I open the door slowly.

"Hey can we talk?" she asks quietly

I nod my head and let her in.

"We can go up to my room" I tell her and she follows behind me. I don't bother to close my bedroom door since no one else was at home.

"I'm sorry" we both say at the same time. We laugh.

"You go first" I tell her.

"I'm sorry for getting mad at you last night. I know since we're actually grown up now, our decisions about our future might've changed from the past and I had no right getting mad at you fpr exploring your options. You're destined for greatness Hailey and I don't want you to go to a school just because of me. I'm also sorry for accusing you of wanting to go to Waterloo because of Calum and choosing him over me. I know you would never do that because that's just not the type of person you are and I feel horrible for even saying that you were one. Whatever decision you choose, I'll be right here to support you. Even if we don't end up going to the same university I'll always be your best friend" she holds my hand and I start to tear up.

"I'm sorry too. I know it's been our dream of going to Mac together ever since we were little and I should've at least considered your feelings about this. We're in this together, since the start of life" I give her a hug and she was crying too. After a bit of crying, we let go of our hug and laugh a bit.

"Are you and Calum still in a fight?" she sniffles.

"Well we haven't talked since last night" I say sadly.

"It's ok, he'll realize that he was in the wrong just like I was and apologize"

"I don't know, I think I just really messed it up with him this time. I wouldn't be surprised if he just wanted to remain friends"

She shrugs and gives a small smile.

"What?" I ask.

"Nothing" she shrugs.

"Juliet"

"Hailey" she mocks my voice.

"Are you not telling me something?"
