0.9 "Luke You Didn't"

Tuesday October 7 - night

"No way, he did not do that" Juliet said in disbelief after telling her what happened with Calum. "He was probably drunk or something"

"Juliet it was during school" Ashton rolled his eyes.

"Lemme see again" Juliet moves to sit beside me on my bed. I show her the now fully shown bruises on my wrist.

"He's stronger than he looks" I say.

"He does look pretty strong" Juliet admits

"I bet I can kick his ass" Ashton adds. Juliet starts laughing obnoxiously. "You don't think I can?"

"No of course you can Ashton" she starts laughing again. Ashton grabs a pillow from my bed and throws it at her.

"OK what is up with us and being violent with pillows?" Juliet exclaims. Her phone blasts out her ringtone which just so happens to be Shake It Off.

"'CAUSE THE PLAYERS GONNA PLAY, PLAY, PLAY, PL-" Ashton and I sang until she answered her phone.

"...But I was jammin' out" Ashton weeps.

"Hey mom...What?...TODAY?!...I thought it was next week...Okay....Okay...OKAY....I'll be there soon" Juliet hangs up her phone and grabs her backpack from the floor. "Apparently my cousins are coming TODAY from L.A and not next week. I gotta get home to pick them up from the airport. I'll see ya guys tomorrow" she escorted herself downstairs leaving me and Ashton alone in my room.

"Are you going to stay for dinner?" I ask him pulling out my math textbook.

"Yea of course, Ellie loves having me for dinner"

"Why do you call my mom by her first name?" I laugh

"She's the one who told me to and so did Alex" He said referring to my father.

"You're so lame stop" I cover my face laughing.

"What are you doing?"

"What does it look like I'm doing?"

He grabs my textbook. "Ew math?"

"It's not that bad" I snatch back my textbook from his hands.

"That's 'cause you're smart"

"Well...Yea" I admit. I don't usually like telling people I find myself smart but with Ashton he doesn't care if I'm being overly confident or not. "Don't you have homework?"

"Yea" he laughs. "music homework"

"How do you have music homework?"

"I have to.." He reaches for his backpack and takes out a sheet with music notes. "Review these"

"So you have to review that sheet for percussions even though you already play drums"

"Yep"

"Ok well looks like you don't have homework"

He laughs and grabs my laptop to occupy himself while I finish my work.

Dinner

After I finish eating my meal, I get up to place my dish in the sink.

"Thanks for dinner Ellie the pasta was really good" Ashton says getting up to put his dish in the sink as well.

"No problem honey, you're always welcome" my mom says.

"Yeah he's like the best sibling I never had" Nathan says fist bumping Ashton.

"Excuse me, I'm right here" I chirp
