6.2 "Don't You Check Your Texts"

Calum's POV

Sophia laughed. "You're so drunk right now Calum, you have no idea what you're saying"

"No I'm serious, we broke up" I tried say with a straight face.

All of her friends laughed.

"Do you realize how stupid you sound right now?" She asked. "Hey, listen, I'll see you around later. Bye Calum" she winks and leaves with her friends following her. I go into the kitchen to find Michael in there talking to another dude. 

"Mikey, I need another shot" I say

He takes one look at me and says "No way man. You took way too many drinks tonight, you're going to end up throwing up"

"Nah man. I haven't thrown up since I was a rookie to drinking. Just give me some of your drink" and before he can even stop me, I already took the drink from his hand and chugged it. "Thanks Mikey" I patted him on the back and took out my phone.

Michael looked over my shoulder while I was sending a text to Hailey. "Calum what the fuck are you doing!" He tried taking my phone but it was too late.

"It's already sent" I shrugged my shoulders and went to go find Sophia. 

"Calum why the fuck would you do that?" Michael pulled me back and tried grabbing my phone. I scoffed and pushed him off of me. 

Hailey's POV

"JULIET WHERE ARE YOU?" 

"Hailey, I'm right beside you!" she screams and we both laugh for no reason. Yep, I'm already drunk. 

"You guys are so fucked up right now" Ashton exclaims. "Already seems like a fun night" he grabbed Juliet's face and kissed her.

"EW YOU GUYS ARE DISGUSTING" I laugh but honestly I just wish Calum was here with me. 

"You know I may be sober but you guys actually make my night" Adrianna laughs and I go to hug her. 

"I LOVE YOU ADRIANNA, WHO NEEDS BOYS RIGHT?" I scream.

"I'm standing right here Hailey" Luke says behind me.

"WHAT? WHAT? LOSER SAYS WHAT? WHAT?" 

"Oh my god this is so funny, this is so going on my story" Adrianna laughs.

"OH MY GOD. WHERE'S MY PHONE? I THINK I LEFT IT IN THE HOUSE" I check all of my pockets and bras. "YA I DON'T HAVE IT GUYS"

They all laugh. "Don't worry I'll go and look for it" Adrianna says.

"OKAY OKAY HURRY I MISS YOU ALREADY" I pout.

"Can someone please just put her in the car while I go get her phone" Adrianna laughs. 

"GOTCHU GIRL" Juliet screams.

Adrianna's POV

I laugh at Hailey's behaviour and how lucky I am to have all of these great friends. I honestly don't know how I put up with the people I used to hang out with and I am forever grateful to have these people in my life. I check all over the living room for Hailey's phone but I couldn't see it. I check the sofas, counter, under the couches but nothing. Oh wait, the kitchen obviously. The place where she made all of her mixes. I enter the kitchen and see the phone right in the middle of the counter between multiple cups. I go to grab her phone but her screen lit up. It was a text from Calum. I was frozen. This wasn't real right? He was just drunk.

Puppy Hood <3: its ovr. . were done

I pick up the phone to read it over and over just trying to think why he'd text this but it all leads up to the same thing. He broke up with her, but over a text message? That's too low. I quickly go into her phone using my fingerprint and quickly delete that message. I shouldn't have done that but I know it's what I was supposed to do. At least for now, I can't let her know about this text. She's finally enjoying herself and she's way too drunk right now to even comprehend this. I have to keep her away from Calum tonight and I need to talk to him. Fuck.
