Chapter 12

Chloe sat down at the edge of the black lake in front of Hogwarts.
Her parents were gone, she had no one.
Christmas break was coming and where  would she go.
Chloe turned at the sound of footsteps.
Peter came and sat down beside her. He fidgeted for a second before turning to her.
"Chloe are you going home for Christmas break?"
Chloe shrugged.
"What home? "
Peter bit the inside of his lip.
"My mom said I could have you over if you wanted."
Chloe smiled at the boy.
"Thank you Peter I would love to spend Christmas with your family."
Chloe looked at the water and began humming a small tune.
Peter looked at the girl.
He liked Chloe very much.
Sadness was clear on her face as she let her hand trace the water. She drew patterns and hummed softly.
She sighed and turned to Peter.
She leaned forward and planted a kiss on his cheek.
Peter blushed. Chloe stood smiling.
"Thank you for being a great friend."
Peter simply turned redder staring at the grass.

Raven laid back in her bed and huffed as Remus came beside her.
"What's wrong?"
Raven shook her head.
"My parents are on a business trip and I have to stay here."
"What about Lilly and Willow?"
"Willow doesn't ever see her family because their always away and now she has time to spend with them,no way would I interrupt that. And Lilly hates her sister and won't let me come because Petunia would make fun of the both of us."
Raven rolled over to face Remus who sat in a chair eyeing her.
"I tell you if I met her and she said one mean thing to Lily I would hex her."
Remus laughed.
" I bet you would Raven."
" What are you doing for break?" Raven asked.
"Probably nothing. Prongs and Pad foot are spending Christmas-"
Raven cut him off.
"Why do you call then that?"

Remus snorted. "An inside joke."
He replied thinking of how last full moon Sirius had turned into a dog,James a stag and Peter a rat.
"I think I'm going to adopt those names."
Remus frowned at Raven.
"No there dumb."
Raven smiled.
"Ok moony." She snickered.
Remus groaned. "Fine I'll call you what Sirius calls you."
Raven glared at him."You wouldn't."
Remus stood smirking."Here birdie,birdie." He said pretending to flap his wings.
Raven jumped off the bed."Stop it you prat."
Raven laughed pretending to howl.

After they continued playing for an hour they fell to the floor in a fit of laughter."What if you were a real werewolf wouldn't that be cool!" Raven said excitedly.
Remus shook his head thinking of all the agonizing pains he had every month. To not seem suspicious he went along with the joke.
"Yes and what if you were a raven."
He laughed.
Raven tensed forcing a laugh.
"Yea what if."
