Chapter 1 Verena & Friends

“Miss Verena time to get up this is the third time I have had to call you now ya hear me, get down here right now your breakfast is getting cold.” That girl is going to be the death of me I swear if she is late for school one more time. Maria grumbling to herself.

“Yes I'm up. I'll be down in just a few minutes” Gee she is sure pushily for a guardian, darn parents for being gone so often I wouldn't need one around here if it wasn't for them being gone so often. Verena complaining to no-one in particular.

Time for a quick shower, get dressed, makeup, eat, and hi-tale it out of here, that should take me about 10 minutes with my speed plenty of time to be at school to meet up with Hunter or Camdon whichever comes to school today. Oh yeah can't forget my MP3 player today, I was so bored in school yesterday, it is too easy for me to get bored, even being in College Prep classes, I really do hate school; why my parents force me to go is so beyond me.

“Hi Maria how are you this morning?” Verena asks.

“Just fine Mistress Verena your breakfast is in the cup on the table nice and warm just the way you like it, and a snack to go is sitting by it as well for you” Maria tells her with a loving smile, and a hug for her.

“Thanks Maria love you for doing that for me this is the only thing that gets me through these terrible days at school” Verena shudders thinking about school then her face brightens.

“What is that you are think about? I see your eyes turning brighter must be a boy you are thinking about right?” Maria asks Verena.

“OH. You know me way too well for you own good” Mock punching Maria on the shoulder as she walks past her heading toward the front door to head to school.

Fifteen minutes later Verena drives up to the parking lot of the school searching for a space to park her car amongst all the other cars in the lot; she finally spots one under a tree. Sighing loudly, parks getting out, grabbing her school shoulder bag throwing it over her shoulder, and heading toward the front door of the school when she spots her friends sitting on the bench where they all meet up every day before the first bell rings signaling it is time to go to home room class.

Verena walks up to her friends and greats them with a wave and a. “Hey guys” They all respond back with.

“Hi Verena glad to see you could make it on time” All laughing at her seeing as she is usually running trying to get to the door trying not to be late for home room class each day. For once she is actually early, then the bell rings, and they all turn and head into the school building.

Hunter slings his arm over Verena's shoulder. “How come you were early today you are usually late getting here did Maria throw water on you again to get you out of bed on time this morning or something” Hunter asks laughing.

“No she won't do that again after the last time even though my parents thought it was funny, I told them all off, there is no way she will ever do that again she knows I will get back at her some way in the future” Verena said to Hunter with an evil grin on her face.

“What is with that face Verena?” Hunter asked? Verena never responded as they walked into there home room class, from there the rest of the day, Verena's day was nothing, but boredom with some texting with her friends and the occasional laugh at the dumb responses some of her classmates gave to the questions the teaches asked.
