Chapter 27 A Ghost of a Religious Kind

One whole week has past since they had left the Ravenwood Manor. Upon arrival everyone was there to meet them especially the twins who popped into the aircraft as it was sitting in the hanger waiting for the pilot to open the door for to deplane. Amalie & Amalia suddenly appeared standing beside daddy with big smiles on their bright shiny faces with a “Hi daddy” When they startled him as they appeared.

Hunter laughed, reached out and hugged them both in his big strong arms then began to tickle each of them as payback for scaring him, though he was laughing just as loud as they were. When the doors were finally opened he held out a finger to each little girl as they each grabbed one, he lead them to the front of the plane, Xandria picked up Amalia, Hunter picked up Amalie as they headed down the stairs of the aircraft into the hanger into the arms of his wife the Queen, kissing her on the lips making the girls sequel out daddddddy.

Laughing they all headed into the Manor into the sitting room that was filled with toys from the girls, they had been quietly playing waiting for them to get home. Hunter and Xandria placed both girls back down in the center of their toy pile, that way they could continue to play so the adults could talk.

Queen Verena was interested in finding out all that happened while they were gone for the week what news they had for her about the security problems, and how it would be fixed. She was unaware that the Dark Witch was dead, and that the trouble maker was arrested, and all was settled except for the trial, or that she had to attend the trial; which she would find out about soon enough.

They informed her all that they had done and the surprise that it was someone she had known all her life, been to his house, met his dead wife. This was a total shock to her system, a vampire of his stature doing deeds of this nature; so evil, so heinous, and for what reason? The Queen could not fathom!

The rest of the day the King & Queen spent their time with the twins Amalia & Amalie playing with toys Hunter playing horsy giving them rides around the sitting room in front of a roaring fire just the four of them laughing, horsing around and having a fun time being a normal family, mommy sitting by the fire a light blanket wrapped at her legs tummy growing steadily a second set of twins soon to grace the manor in a few week time she is so melancholy. The Queen letting out a sigh “SIGH” looks over at the twins smiles at them and her loving husband playing on the floor so content she is so happy.

“Blaine to the office please urgent message for you here” Was the message sent out over the intercom through out the castle paging system, by Julie Talbot the UK secretary. Blaine had just woken up early in the morning from a late evening of doing paperwork, billing, authorizing new training schedules for all their new men, ordering newest state of the art weaponry for their protection and sending the Queen the requests and also a suggestion for them to also get some of these new weapons. 

When she went to bed it was early in the morning about 04:00 so she only receive a few short hours of sleep when the message for her to pick up the urgent message for her in the office came over the intercom. Tired and worn down from all the work and lack of sleep, she pulled herself out of her comfort zone, dressed and headed down to get a cup of coffee, then head down to the secure office under the rear of the castle into the office to pick up this important message that couldn't wait a couple of more hours for her to get some much deserved sleep.
