Chapter 26 Good Witch - Dark Witch - Dead Witch – Gone

Three days after the attack on the Ravenwood Compound we get a call from our office at Winterton-on-Sea in the UK about an attack there by a band of werewolves that got past their defense system killing half their security force before Blaine, Sabine, and Liese could finish them all off. Once the inspections were complete there were no damaged done to either the walls or the top electrified fencing and the alarm system never went off.

Xandria and King Hunter are headed there to check out the compound and also check for the same black magic found at Ravenwood during the attack here. On approach Xandria can sense there has defiantly been black magic used at the compound. It is still in the air around the east side of the wall by the waters edge. 

When they land Xandria heads straight out to where she first detected the anomalies from up in the plane. She checks first within the walls perimeter but upon finding nothing there beside wolf tracks about 10 feel out from the wall. Xandria heads outside the wall to the water side near the danger zone she had set up previously, it is still in force and still working fine. Then she walks over to where she sensed the anomalies from the airplane, getting closer to it she finds a definite correlation to the black magic used back home at Ravenwood Manor.

Inspecting it closer she notices it is the same signature spell used by the dark witch they captured way back when they were in Salem Massachusetts. Now Xandria had the proof she needs to connect the dots between the two cases. She just need one more dot to connect the last dot and she think she know who is behind all these problems. Xandria heads back to the Winterton-on-Sea Manor to meet up with King Hunter for a quick meeting so she can get back to the Queen with her report and start her investigation.

Xandria meets up with the King and Blaine having a meeting with Sabine and Liese in the office to the rear of the manor. Walking in, slightly curtsying with her head bowed toward her King she straightens up and addresses him.

“Your Majesty I have found the same signature spell here that I found back home at Ravenwood Manor. There is a definite link between the two attacks” She stated then went on after a pause. “ I believe it was black magic and a very powerful spell at that. I only know of one dark with capable of preforming a spell of this nature, but we have her locked up in one of our cell back in Romania at the training camp” Xandria looking extremely concerned now

“What do you suggest we do to check out your theories? Have you any plans for strengthening the security here to prevent and further attacks?” The King asked Xandria.

“First I would like to confer with the Queen then decide how to handle this matter. Possibly go back to Germany to see the other two witches there. Then we can all go to Romania to check in on the Dark Witch to see if she has had any visitors and if so who” Xandria was explaining her ideas to the King.

“I feel we should at least contact my friends the witches at the High Council to see how they made out with the information I asked them to dig up for me on the one council member the Queen knows about” Xandria let slip out.

“Oh is there a problem I don't know about at the High Council?” Hunter asked Xandria directly frowning at her his eyes narrowing down into a deadly stare.

“Um well I thought the Queen would have told you all about it sir” Xandria said.

“No she didn't so why don't you enlighten me” The King said booming his voice now. Demanding answers.
