Gotham County

Mutant Gangs set up turrets and bear traps around the border of Gotham County. Gotham still looked like a city but there was sand all over its buildings. The city looks like a bunch of buildings in the middle of a giant desert.

The Mutants were trying to keep Thawne and his army from even setting a foot on Gotham soil. The Mutants had formed after Bruce died. Bruce saved them on his last night as Batman and they vouched to protect Gotham ever since. They even go by the name the "Sons of Batman". The Sons of Batman wore Bat shaped eye masks on their faces made out of makeup. They also wore blue coats and black jeans with Bat symbols tattooed all over their bodies.

The northwest squad had sighted Thawne's Army but not Thawne himself. There were dozens of tanks and hundreds of soldiers coming from about half a mile away. The tanks and soldiers were traveling on desert where as the Mutants were on high ground and barricaded. Half of the Mutants drove over to the Northwest part of Gotham in Batpods. While the other half stayed on the Southwest part of Gotham, making sure they wouldn't get flanked. These Batpods were like motorcycles but armored and longer. The also were armed with heavy assault rifles and three missiles.

This was going to be a war. Thawne's Regime vs the Mutants of Gotham. Dozens were going to die. The Mutants started firing their turrets at the tanks and soldiers. Three of Thawne's soldiers went down after being hit in the head by .357 bullets that were fired by the turrets. After the three soldiers went down, Thawne's Soldiers put their portable shields in front of them and started firing their assault rifles at the Mutants. As they were firing, they didn't stop moving, they kept walking foward.

Mutants were getting hit by Thawne's soldiers. Their aim was precise, they were trained, trained well. While the Mutants knew how to hit their targets fifty percent of the time, Thawne's Soldiers knew how to hit their target a hundred and fifty percent of the time. They had to go through intense training to learn all this. Not only was Thawne's Soldiers aim amazing, they were holding their assault rifles with only one hand. Their other hand were holding the riot shields.

Dozens of Mutants hit the ground, hit the ground hard. More than seventy five percent of the Northwest squad was gone. The twelve Mutants who survived were scarred, they had never faced Thawne's Soldiers in battle before. They were trained for war, not for an apocalypse. Mutants started to retreat towards the middle of the city to find the Man in the Yellow Suit. The Man in the Yellow Suit had killed every single Mutant who was supposed to protect the Southeast part of Gotham.

The Man in the Yellow Suit confronted the Mutants as his soldiers came closer to Gotham. The Man in the Yellow Suit ran at superhuman speeds and grabbed a Mutant and smashed him on the ground. The Man in the Yellow Suit then vibrated his hand through the Mutant's heart, stopping it and killing the Mutant.

"You all messed up." The Man in the Yellow Suit said in a deep, vibrated voice. "You chose the wrong side and now you will die for it."

The Man in the Yellow Suit ran up to the two biggest Mutants and grabbed their heads. He then started vibrating their heads together so they would take up the same space. The Man in the Yellow Suit stopped vibrating their heads and the heads of the two Mutants fell off their bodies.

"Nine more. Who will take the all mighty Professor Zoom down?" Thawne intimated with his thick voice.

Three Mutants started firing at Thawne's body. Thawne caught every bullet with ease and then threw each bullet at the heads of the Mutants who fired them. Thawne saw everything in slow motion, he saw the trajectory of each bullet as he caught them and threw them. Thawne saw the blood splatter that came out of each of the soon to be dead Mutants' heads.

"My turn." Thawne laughed.

Thawne ran up to a Mutant with a blue mohawk and slammed him on the floor. After Thawne started smashing his red boot into the Mutant's face, causing blood to get all over his boot. Then, Thawne picked up a Mutant by the shirt and threw him into a dusty, glass window. The Mutant landed in an abandoned sandwich shop with glass all around him. Thawne ran over to the Mutant and grabbed the sharpest piece of glass he could find and stabbed the Mutant in the middle of his chest.

The last three Mutants ran towards Thawne's Soldiers, knowing they had a better chance of going up against his army rather than Thawne himself. About a hundred of Thawne's Soldiers met the Mutants, ordering them to get down on their knees. The Mutants did as they said and put their hands on their heads. Thawne came from behind them and inspected them.

"Please Thawne... We'll join you! Just let us live, please!" A scared Mutant cried.

"You don't get to call me Thawne." Professor Zoom said has he impaled the Mutant with his hand. "It's Professor Zoom." He looked up to his soldiers who were aiming their assault rifles down at the last two Mutants. "Kill them."

Thawne's Soldiers fired upon the last two Mutants' backs, killing them and followed Thawne towards the middle of the city.
