Son to Mother

Fortress of Solitude

Fifteen soldiers stormed in the room where Terry, Diana and Zod were. Lord Superman's dead body was in the west corner of the room. Terry, Diana, and Zod were ready though. They had fought soldiers like these in the past, this should be no different. The only difference was, was this time, they were going to attack first, they weren't going to be defensive, it was their turn to play offense.

"We all take five." Zod told his older allies. "Got it?"

"Got it." Diana and Terry said at the same time.

Diana ran over to one soldier who was holding a katana sword and sweep kicked his legs. The soldier however, got back up and tried to strike Diana in the face with his sword. Diana blocked the sword with her indestructible bracelets and kneed the soldier in the stomach. Diana then threw the soldier into two other soldiers who were charging towards her.

The two other soldiers fell to the ground and Diana ran towards them and punched them in the face. After she encountered two more soldiers who were skilled in hand to hand combat. One soldier tried sweep kicking Diana but Diana jumped and punched the soldier in the face. The soldier shook it off and let his buddy handle her for a little bit. The other soldier tried swinging his left hand at her ribcage but Diana caught the soldier's left hand and left arm and snapped it. Then, Diana finished the first soldier by throwing him into a wall.

Terry was handling five soldiers too. He fought conservatively and waited for one of the soldiers to take a step. After a soldier took a step, Terry threw a silver, curved Batarang out of his Utility Belt and hit the soldier in the face and sent the soldier to the ground. After, Terry charged towards three soldiers who were standing in a line. Terry leaped towards the soldier in the middle and Terry let his feet hit the soldier in the face. Terry fell on his side with the soldier but slowly got back up.

Terry got out his grapple gun and shot it at a smaller soldier's legs who was about twenty feet away from him. The smaller soldier fell on the ground and Terry pulled the soldier towards him. Terry kicked the soldier in the face. Then, the final two soldiers who took on Terry charged at him at the same time. Terry grabbed out a Batarang with both of his hands and threw one at each of the soldiers' faces to knock them out.

Zod had to fight the final five soldiers. He was going to take them down quickly. He ran at the soldiers in super speed and tackled the biggest soldier. The biggest soldier was about seven feet tall and maybe four hundred pounds. Zod started punching the soldier in the chest then threw his body at two soldiers who were about to tackle him.

Zod then engaged in a fistfight with the bigger soldier of the two remaining ones. The soldier tried punching Zod as hard as he could but Zod didn't feel anything. Zod just stood there and let the soldier punch him. After about fifteen seconds of standing Zod decided to smack the soldier into the ground. However, right after, the final soldier had taken the Kryptonite Dagger out of Lord Superman chest and stabbed Zod in the back with it. Zod fell on the ground and Diana screamed. Diana picked up the final soldier and bashed his body into the ground multiple times.

After, Diana held her son in her arms, "Zod..."

"M-mother?" Zod mumbled, "D-did we beat them? Did we beat Thawne's soldiers?"

"Yes Zod, we did. We'll get you out of here, just hold on and stay quiet. Don't waste your breathe. Stay awake-," Diana couldn't finish.

"We all know I won't make it Mother." Zod interrupted with a faint voice, "Promise me mother, you'll stay the way you are. Y-you don't need to be a killer mother. You don't need to kill Thawne in order to beat him."

"I-I promise." Diana said while crying. Terry ran behind her.

""I always will love you, I always have. Know that I've always loved you, I never hated you." Zod stated.

"I-I love you too my son." Diana replied while wiping her tears.

"Goodbye mother." Zod had passed but his eyes were still open.

"Goodbye Zod." Diana said her final words and shut her son's eyes.
