Squad vs Thawne

Old Daily Planet

Lex, Barry and seven of Zod's soldiers traveled to the old Daily Planet. The seven soldiers' names were John, Stan, George, Zack, Ben, Chris, and Henry. They set up sniper's nests on separate buildings around the abandoned Daily Planet. Barry was wearing his coat, goggles, and scarf. Lex would command the soldiers who to shoot and when to shoot them. Thawne and six of his soldiers on the roof of the Daily Planet. They were investigating the body of the soldier that Terry had killed.

"Why do we have to do this bullshit?" John asked Stan on their communications.

"I don't know man, I wish Zod would've sent someone else." Stan told his fellow soldier.

"Zod sent a squad to go up against an army. He sent us to our deaths." Ben stated.

"We're like a damn suicide squad or something." Henry said.

"The name's taken." Lex told his soldiers he was leading into battle, "Any of you boys hear of Amanda Waller?"

"No." All the soldiers replied.

"She had a Suicide Squad and they did completely different jobs that you boys are doing. The jobs were more dangerous." Lex informed.

"How do you know that?" Zack questioned Lex.

"Because, Zack, I was apart of it." Lex answered. "Do you all have your targets?"

"Yessir." All the soldiers said.

"Fire, on the count of three." Lex commanded, "One..." The soldiers put a magazine in their sniper rifles, "Two..." The soldiers then put their finger on the trigger, "Three..."

All the soldiers fired at the same time. However, none of them hit their target. Thawne's soldiers got ready for a firefight as Thawne vanished. Lex soldiers got out their assault rifles as Thawne's soldiers started firing upon them. Barry looked around for Thawne as he stood next to Lex.

"Does anyone have eyes on Thawne?" Lex asked his soldiers.

"No, I'm sorry Mr. Luthor." Chris told Lex.

"God Dammit!" Lex yelled as he flew over to the Daily Planet in his Exo suit.

Thawne's soldiers started firing at Lex. However, Lex's Exo suit defended him against their bullets. When Lex landed on the roof of the Daily Planet he threw two of Thawne's soldiers off the roof. Lex then grabbed a soldier by the head and smashed it into the concrete. After, Lex picked up a soldier and threw him into the old Daily Planet globe. The final two soldiers tried tackling Lex's Exo suit. Lex then flew up a hundred feet into the air causing the two soldiers to fall to their deaths.

While Lex was handling Thawne's soldiers, Barry ran around the Daily Planet, looking for Thawne. He couldn't find him. Barry then ran back to the rooftops where Lex's soldiers were camping to find the soldiers dead. All the soldiers had blood stains over their left pectorals.

"My god." Barry said as he saw the dead soldiers.

Lex flew over to Barry after he was done. "Thawne, he's still around here somewhere."

"You're right Lex." A voice said coming from behind Lex and Barry. Lex and Barry turned around as fast as they could to find Thawne holding Ben's lifeless body with one hand. "I am still here."
