Abandoned US Army Base

Diana had pulled Lord Superman to the side to speak with him. She wanted to know how the hell he got out of the Phantom Zone and if anyone else got out. She was angry that he had been released. Diana had a history with him, a horrible history.

"How the hell did you get out of the Phantom Zone? Bruce, Clark and I trapped you there, you shouldn't have been able to get out." Diana growled at her ex husband.

"Zod freed me." Lord Superman smiled.

"That's impossible, he would never free you. He hated you. We all hated you." Diana stated.

"True, very true." Lord Superman replied, "However Zod was desperate. We both should know what happens when someone gets desperate. They turn to the last resort and I was Zod's last resort. After you abandoned him-,"

Diana grabbed Lord Superman by the neck before he could finish his sentence, "I did not abandon him."

"It sure seems like you did. Whether or not it was on accident or purpose, you abandoned him, you left him to die. Now let me go, wife." Lord Superman commanded.

"I am not your wife." Diana told her ex husband as she dropped him on the ground.

"So be it." Lord Superman said, "But you have failed your son."

"You did too." Diana shot back.

"No, I was never given a chance. If I had the opportunities that you had, I would've taken advantage of them. Zod wouldn't want me away from him, he'd love me." Lord Superman said.

"Zod does love me, he's just angry with me right now." Diana shouted in anger.

"I'm sure he does but with the little time we have, I would never want Zod angry with me. I would want him to always love me." Lord Superman said. "Take advantage of the time you have Diana. I've hated you ever since I met you all those years ago but I want my son to love his mother. So take my advice, or don't, it's up to you."
