Chapter 14

Interrogation

Old Daily Planet

The average sized soldier woke up, tied up in a wooden chair by Diana's black Lasso of Truth. The average sized soldier only wore white undergarments. His face and brown hair was revealed. The wooden chair was nailed to the ground. The average sized soldier looked around to see Terry (who was in his Batsuit), Barry (who was still wearing his coat, goggles, and scarf), Diana, and Lex (who was still in his exosuit). The average sized soldier struggled to break free but couldn't. They were on the rooftops of the Daily Planet.

"What the hell!? Where the hell am I!?" The average sized soldier yelled.

"That doesn't matter. The only thing that should matter to you is whether this is going to be easy or hard." Terry grunted while getting the in the average sized soldier's face. "You're going to answer my questions. If you don't- Well let's just say you don't want to know what happens if you refuse to answer my questions." Terry grabbed the black Lasso of Truth, "Tell me what you know about Thawne, now!"

The average soldier resisted the black Lasso of Truth, "The fucking Lasso doesn't work on me, dipshit. Professor Zoom taught us how to resist it. Try something else, idiot."

"Oh, I was hoping it wouldn't work on you." Terry smiled and threw a punch towards the average sized soldier's face. Terry kept throwing punches, bruising and knocking teeth out of the average sized soldier's mouth. "You ready to talk?"

"Keep going." The average sized soldier laughed, "This is all a game to me."

"Yeah, a game where you're losing." Terry shot back. Terry walked away and grabbed a crowbar the was laying around.

Barry walked up to him before he could get back to the soldier. "What the hell do you think you're doing!?"

"Get out of my way. I want answers from this asshole and I'm going to get them." Terry stated as he shoved Barry out of the way. Barry tried to stop Terry but Lex put his arm out in front of him. Terry stood in front of the average sized soldier. "Tell me what hurts more, A," Terry hit the average sized soldier in the right cheek with the crowbar, "or B." Terry then hit the average sized soldier in the left cheek with the crowbar.

"I'm not answering any stupid questions. Try someone else." The average sized soldier stated.

"Oh you're so brave." Terry replied, he turned to Diana, "Hand me you're sword."

Diana handed Terry her black sword. "No!" Barry shouted, "What the hell Diana!?"

"I'm sorry Barry. This is just how it is now." Diana replied.

Terry stabbed the average sized soldier in the right shoulder. The average sized soldier screamed in pain. Terry yanked the sword out his the average sized soldier's right shoulder, causing more pain, and cut him across the chest. Terry then stuck the sword in each of the average sized soldier's legs. The average sized soldier was bleeding and crying for mercy.

"Ok, I'll tell you all I know." The average sized soldier weeped as scars on his chest were bleeding. "Professor Zoom has a base in the Arctic. He says it used to belong to Superman."

"The Fortress of Solitude." Diana said.

"That's what he calls it. It's where all his soldiers train. I've even heard rumors that he has a device called the Tachyon Prototype to help him run faster." The average sized soldier claimed.

"Where's he now!?" Terry questioned.

"I don't know! Maybe he's headed here, he knows about you guys being here." The average sized soldier answered. "That's all I know! You have to believe me!"

"I do." Terry said. Terry grabbed the sword and cut through the neck of the average sized soldier. The average sized soldier's head fell on the ground releasing blood everywhere.

"No!" Barry fell to his knees.

"We need to get out of here and think of a plan." Luthor stated. "Get on your feet Barry, we need to move."

Diana, Barry, Lex, and Terry walked to the first floor of the old Daily Planet. There were dusty work desks everywhere. As they approached the entrance, they saw a man in his twenties wearing a black skintight suit, along with one other older man who was Diana's age, wearing a Superman emblem on his chest, and dozens of armed civilians waiting for them.

"Zod!?" Diana gestured to the man in the black skintight suit. "Kal?" She said to the man with the Superman emblem.

"Hello Mother." Zod, the man in the black skintight suit greeted.
