Metropolis

The Invisible Jet was flying over Metropolis, the second to last city to be taken over by Thawne. The city was dusty, it wasn't completely destroyed yet. However, there were civilians being treated like slaves to Thawne's soldiers. Thawne's soldiers were beating them if they didn't listen to their commands. Everyone except Diana were in a passenger seat. Diana was in the pilot seat.

"We need to help them." Barry commanded. "Look at them, they're being tortured, treated like slaves."

"We can't, it's too big of a risk." Lex replied. "We can't risk ourselves, if we die there's no one else to stop Thawne."

"So we're going to let innocent people get hurt? We're going to let them get beat, possibly die?" Barry asked.

"Yes, we are. As much as I wish we could, we can't save them. It could be a trap, a death sentence. This is how many of our friends died, falling for things like this." Terry explained.

"I have to try and save them, we have to try and save them." Barry stated.

Barry walked to the back of the Invisible Jet and opened up a hatchet that would let him fall free, down to Metropolis. Barry grabbed a pair of dusty goggles and a brown coat that were hanging from a coat hanger. Barry also grabbed a backpack with a parachute in it. Barry then looked down as air hit his face.

"Barry, no!" Diana yelled as she ran towards Barry.

"You leave me, or come with me. Just remember, to change all this, you need me." Barry told Diana as he jumped towards the sands of Metropolis.

As Barry fell, he slipped the goggles over his red mask. Air hit his face as he fell but Barry had goggles on to cover his eyes. As Barry approached about two thousand feet in the air, he pulled the ripcord on his backpack and his parachute released.

Barry floated in the air, towards the back of the old Daily Planet building. The globe on the skyscraper damaged. Only seventy five percent of the globe remained. The globe looked like a meteor had hit it.

As Barry landed, dust flew up from under his feet. His golden boots had been tarnished by the sand. When Barry landed, he looked around as dust flew in his mouth. He checked his pockets on his brown coat to see if there was a scarf in it to cover his mouth. In his left, bottom pocket he found a brown, ragged scarf that was about a foot long. Barry slipped it over his mouth and started walking around in the shadows, out of sight from Thawne's soldiers who were patrolling the rooftops.

Barry walked north looking for survivors. As he was walking north, he passed old business buildings like a Wayne Enterprises a LexCorp Building, a Queen Industries Building, and even the Daily Star. Barry passed numerous alleyways too. So far, there were no soldiers patrolling them.

However, when Barry passed the fifth alleyway, two soldiers had came from an alleyway he had already passed and saw him. One soldier was bigger and the other was average in size. They must've cut a corner when Barry looked down their alley.

"Hey! Stop!" The average sized soldier gestured over to Barry. The two soldiers ran over to Barry trying to detain him. "You should be indoors, Professor Zoom has ordered a curfew."

"Professor Zoom is what he goes by?" Barry laughed as he turned around towards the soldier, "That's the lamest villain name I've every heard!"

Barry sprinted past the middle of the two soldiers. The wind caused by Barry knocked the soldiers on their feet. The bigger soldier got out a walkie talkie like device, calling for back up.

"The guy in the red suit from earlier, he's back." The bigger soldier stated as he got up from the ground.

Barry came back running towards the bigger soldier and jumped towards his face. Barry landed a blow to the bigger soldier's right cheek to knock him out. The average sized soldier got up and ran towards a building with a other patrol soldiers on a rooftop of an old twenty foot store.

"Hey! I need you're help!" The average sized soldier yelled to three soldiers on the rooftop.

The three soldiers on the rooftop jumped from off the roof, in front of an alleyway separating the twenty foot building with a business building. They grabbed their guns out and pointed them at Barry, who was standing still in the middle of the road of sand.

"Okay, okay you got me." Barry laughed putting his hands up, indicating a surrender.

Barry then started sprinting towards the three soldiers before they could even fire. Barry grabbed the soldier on the right and knocked him into the middle soldier, who then fell onto the soldier all the way on the left. This created a domino effect.

"Nah just kidding." Barry taunted the soldiers on the ground, making them angry.

More five soldiers were coming from the south road. The average sized soldier led them to Barry. However, before they could even get thirty feet near Barry, Diana, Lex and Terry came from out of the skies landing on the five soldiers and the one average sized soldier.

Terry picked a soldier up and threw him into the glass window of a business building. Lex, who was in his exosuit, grabbed two with enormous hands and slammed their bodies together. There were three that Barry had knocked over getting up. Barry noticed this and went up to each on of them and slammed their face in the sand.

Diana was the most skilled on here. She got her black Lasso of Truth out and tied one of the last three soldiers who were remaining. She then pulled the tied up soldier towards her and put her arm out. The tied up soldier hit her arm and fell on his back towards the ground. After, Diana fought the last two in hand to hand combat. One of the soldiers was the average sized soldier. The other was a smaller soldier who looked like he could barely carry a plastic chair. The smaller soldier took a swing at Diana but Diana caught the smaller soldier's flimsy arm. Diana threw the smaller soldier into a wall, knocking him out of the fight. The average sized soldier got on his knees after he saw his fellow soldier get thrown into a wall.

"I surrender, I surrender!" The average sized soldier pleaded.
