Battle

Fortress of Solitude

Zod, Terry, Barry, and Diana stood in front of Thawne with the only thing separating them was Lord Superman's dying body. Zod ran over to Lord Superman and held him in his arms. Zod was letting out tears as everyone watched him.

"I'm sorry my son..." Lord Superman said faintly, "I'm sorry I couldn't be a better father. Just know I am so proud of you, I am proud of what you have become. You are better than me and your mother. You're a good person, my son and I couldn't ask for anything more."

"Father..." Zod cried.

"Goodbye my son." Lord Superman said as he shut his eyes and passed in Zod's arms.

Zod looked up at Thawne who was smiling and stroking his Kryptonite dagger, "You murderer!" Zod yelled as he charged at Thawne in superhuman speeds.

Thawne couldn't dodge Zod, he was too fast. Zod tackled Thawne and the Kryptonite dagger fell out of Thawne's hands. Zod started punching Thawne in the face. However, on the seventh punch, Thawne caught Zod's fist and threw him into the west wall. Thawne's face was bloody, blood was coming out of his mouth and nose. Thawne ran away in a door behind him as ten of his soldiers charged in. Diana drew her sword and Terry grabbed out a dagger. Zod's eyes turned red.

"No!" Barry yelled. "Don't be like him! We could do this without killing! You all could be the heroes you once were!"

Diana dropped her sword, Terry dropped his dagger, and Zod's eyes turned normal. They realized they could beat these soldiers without killing them. Diana ran over to two soldiers and banged their heads together. Terry swiped at a smaller soldier's legs and punched him in the skull, knocking him out. Terry then grabbed the arm of a soldier who tried to stab him in the back and threw the soldier into a wall.

Barry and Zod cleared the rest. Barry threw two soldiers in the air and Zod smashed them on the ground. After, Zod threw two other soldiers in the air and Barry kicked their bodies against the ground. Two more soldiers remained. Barry ran up to the two soldiers and punched both of them in the nose and kicked them both in the stomach. Terry then pushed both of their heads into the ground, detaining them.
