Chapter 16

The boys stayed for three days. On the day they were supposed to go back, Ravi teleported from the airport to May's room. May wasn't there waiting for him. Instead, there was her mom , who was armed.

"I knew you boys had something to do with her disappearance the first time, I knew it!" Her mother shrieks, "You were going to take her from me again, no! I might not be her biological mother, but I do love her like one."

"Then it's time to call in reinforcements," Ravi comments.

He goes back to the airport, where the boys are waiting for him and May, grabs Leo, and takes them back to May's house. Ravi rushes Mrs. Lancaster and forces the gun to the ground. Leo steps forward and places his hands on either side of her head.

"You'll forget May even came home," Leo says calmly, Ravi can feel his reaching out beyond the house, working on whoever knew May had been taken back, "You think May is dead."

When it is done, Mrs. Lancaster passes out and Leo nearly collapses. Stretching out his power like that was draining to him.

"Hyung, can you find out where May is or are you to exausted."

"If you had looked downstairs, she's in the kitchen with earbuds in," Leo mutters.

Ravi listens, sure enough he could hear her music coming from downstairs. He winces a little and helps Leo down the stairs as to not waste his own energy. He helps Leo sit down and taps May on the shoulder. She whirls with a frying pan in her hands, if Ravi didn't have lightning fast reflexes, she would've caved in his head. She relaxes when she sees him.

"Sorry Ravi, you startled me," May mutters and drops the pan in the sink. She had made pancakes.

"What, expecting N?" He jokes and steals one of the pancakes.

"Maybe?" She replies and sees Leo, "What the hell happened to him?"

"He had his energy drained using his power," Ravi answers with his mouth full, "I didn't know you could cook."

"I don't like doing it," May answers simply, wiping her hands in her jeans, "Ready to go?"

"Yeah, you have your stuff?" Ravi answers, grabbing the plate of pancakes. She nods and tilts her head to a small bag, "Great, come over by Leo, takes less energy if we are together."

She obeys and they're at the airport.

"What took you so long?" Ken complains.

"We had to stop for May's amazing pancakes," Ravi replies, shoving another one in his mouth. Ken steals one off the plate.

"Wow, these are good!" He exlaims.

"Can we just go?" Hongbin says quietly.

"Sure," Ravi answers and like that they're back to the ransacked house.

"What the hell happened?" May exclaims, running inside. Her mouth gapes at the destruction.

"After Sehun took you, they broke anything that could be broken," Hongbin answers quietly, "The only room that stayed untouched was yours."

"We have our work cut out for us then," May sighs and Hongbin grins a little.

After calling their manager, Ken, N, and May end up going to work, leaving the others to start cleaning up the house. None of them complained. When they get to the recording studio, Manager Park kept glaring at her.

"Why does Manager Park keep glaring?" She asks Ken while N was recording.

"Because he thinks you're pregnant," he answers, sipping his water.
