Chapter 20

Cold fingers on her face. May jerks and tries to open her eyes, but she is blinded by someone's hand. Around the edges it is dark, still night. She tries to cry out, but the sound comes out weakly. She whimpers instead, already feeling the long forgotten weakness.

"Oh May, you're so naïve," a feminine voice says, and May's blood runs cold. Camille.

"What are you doing here?" May asks, her voice barely audible.

"I'm not here and I am, but my reasons at this point should be obvious enough," is the answer.

"How can you be here and not be here?" May asks. She can no longer struggle, Camille was draining all of her.

"My presence and power is in your room, I am not."

"How?" May's voice goes out in the middle of the word.

She feels 'Camille' lean down next to her ear, "Did you really think I'd let Hyuk go so easily? I always make good on my threats, why do you think he's been so exausted lately?"

May summons all her strength, "No."

"Yes. I chose him because he is the youngest, therefore, easiest to control. I was going to use Leo, but he far too loyal to N. Hyuk is loyal, but sometimes loyalty comes with expirences. Besides, when I first started playing with the boys, Hyuk came in towards the end of it, I didn't get to have much fun with him..."

May passes out.

*Let me take over Mina! She's draining you dry!*

*If you take over, Hyuk will get hurt* she answers the internal voice, weakly resisting it's want to take over.

*Stop resisting! You are more important than Hyuk!*

*If he dies, the boys will never forgive me.*

*Who cares?! The boys kidnapped you in the first place, screwed over your life!* The voice begins to overpower her.

*Stop, please!* May pleads, but she is to late. As soon as the other her takes over, Hyuk is off of her.

"Are you still curious on why you were kicked out of heaven?" He/Camille asks casually, "It's because of this side of you. You had no control over it and you still don't. I don't know how you can get your wings back, but that's why Michael took them in the first place. Until tomorrow, May." The last word was a hiss, then Hyuk collapses.

Ken knocks on May's door the next morning. She doesn't answer it. He frowns and knocks again, this time harsher. He tries the knob, it's locked.

"May!" He calls desparately, "May open the door!"

She still doesn't reply. Leo and Hongbin come out of their rooms.

"What are you doing?" Leo asks sleepily.

"May won't answer her door," Ken answers.

"Maybe she just wants some privacy, hell, she's probably in the shower!" Hongbin scowls, "Jesus Ken, you're acting like the world is about to end!"

"Hongbin, Ken's right, something's wrong," Leo says calmly, "She doesn't have any thought waves going on. She's not awake."

"Go get Ravi," Ken orders, Hongbin obeys. When he comes back, he is dragging an complaining Ravi behind him.

"Let me go back to sleep," he groans.

"Something's up with May," Leo explains, "We need you to get inside and unlock the door for us."
