Chapter 31

When they get to the hotel, N divides them into rooms, handing out the keys. Hongbin and Ravi, Leo and Ken, May and N. Hyuk was on his own. Normally, the Hyuk they know would've protested. But he is silent as he takes his key, keeping his head down. He quietly goes up to his room, hauling his luggage behind him.

When he's out of sight, May turns to Hongbin, "Do you think he's going to be okay?"

Hongbin looks at her sadly. Unlike N, he had quickly accepted that his best friend was being controlled by a homicidal maniac who liked to play with dolls. He was no longer angry, just sad.

"I don't know May," he answers, "I hate isolating him like that, but it's safer that way."

"I don't think it's fair though," May argues, "I mean, she's after me, not you guys. And if one of you guys were with him, you could probably restrain him if he got out of control."

"While I personally agree with you, N still doesn't want you on your own, just in case Camille decides to pop by," Ken jumps into the conversation.

"I guess you're right," May sighs, N wraps his arm around her waist.

*Although, Camille also has a voodoo doll of N and will probably use it on this tour.*

Leo coughs and she glances to him. He heard everything.

"Hey, do you know how to swim?" He asks, she nods her head, turning away from Leo.

"I grew up in Florida, N, surrounded by water. I think I learned to swim before I learned to walk," she answers.

*Only you could say that without Ravi hitting you. Well, other than me of course.*

*Of course you weirdo.*

Leo smiles slightly, Ken throws his arm over the older boy's shoulder, "Let's go to our room and get our swimsuits on."

They all follow Ken's order and meet by the pool. Only Hyuk isn't there. Ken whoops and cannonballs in, splashing Ravi.

"You little..." he starts, then dives in and attacks Ken pulling him under. Ken breaks the surface.

"Stop Ravi, you shouldn't treat your Hyung like this," he shouts playfully as Ravi pulls him back down.

May laughs and touches the water, it was warm. She throws the bathrobe she found on N and dives in. N follows her, along with Hongbin. Leo stays on the side until Ken and Ravi's brawl ends up drenching him. May watches him smile wickedly and jumps in on top of them.

"We should play chicken," May suggests, and they pair up by rooms.

May's on top on N, Ken's on Leo, Hongbin on Ravi. Leo and Ken go after May and N first. For some reason, Ravi and Hongbin stay back.

*If I promise not to hurt them, can I take over? They'll team up on you so you'll lose but I'm stronger than all of them combined.*

*And you are a part of me, therefore, I have your strength.*

*These boys have made you much more clever.*

The voice leaves as Ken grabs her hands, trying to push her off N's shoulders. N keeps his balance and lets her do all the work. She scans Leo, he was throwing of his balance off by leaning slightly forward. She decides to use that to her advantage and does her best to push Ken back. She succeeds, causing Leo to take a step back into the deep end. Suddenly she is pushed from behind and falls into Ken. Both teams go down, May inhales water and breaks the surface choking and spitting, hair stragling all over her face. Of course N, Ken, and Leo were all right and still managed to look absolutltly flawless. She looks over and sees Hongbin cheering on Ravi's back.
