After school that day, Jay strode down the pavement feeling exeptionally happy with the world. All worries seemed to have left her. Katelyn had returned, but always exhausted. That didn't stop her from going on with her life as normal.

She arrived at her house, again her father being nowhere to be seen. She was tired, so she walked upstairs to her room and flopped down on her bed. She quickly fell asleep after closing her eyes.

She was in a dream world, it seemed. Jay glanced around. She saw a hall, so she went through it.

She met a figure in the hallway. "Destruction is near," it whispered.

"Destruction? Does this have to do with the prophecy?"

"Wings..." it whispered again. It trembled and floated off into the darkness, it's swirly ghost tail trailing off behind it.

"Wings of Destiny." The voice echoed through the room. Jay shrugged it off as she turned to leave.

"Jay? Is that you?" A voice called. Jay turned again to see Charlotte standing there. "What are you doing?"

"Uhh... dreaming?" She replied, clearly confused.

"Okay then. You know what? I just figured out something cool."

"What is it?" Jay asked. Just then the world dissolved around them.

Jay woke up, sitting bolt upright. "Wow," Jay thought. She walked over to her desk and sat down. She opened the book about wings, and looked at the prophecy again.

"Five humans with the power to rule will save Earth from the pit of destruction."

She looked at the page more closely this time.

"The humans contain a Bloodwing, a Brightwing, Nightwing, Thunderwing, and Lightwing."

"Hmm..."

Her dad bustled into the room, making Jay jump, making the book fall onto the ground with a loud thump.

"What was that?" He asked.

"My book..."
