Lily's POV

I woke up from dozing to see a black figure sifting through Jay's bag. I sat up, not really registering the figure until I saw it look towards me. I conjured up a lime green fireball to see better.

The person's face glowed with green as I looked at it. The person looked like a male, so I just assumed that. His face was very, very pale, more pale than me. His eyes kind of looked black.

He eventually ran away after our eyes locked for more than two minutes.

I came down from my tree and summoned my satchel. I grabbed a lime green robe that had light blue flames on the sleeves, the neckline, and the bottom edges.

I quickly changed and roused Jay, put my satchel around myself, and we set off.

We walked along a forest stream, looking for an element temple. Jay had suggested flying with our wings, so we did. We saw one in the desert with a stream running through it.

I felt a dark feeling inside me, and I immediately wrote it off as one of Charlotte's worrying feelings. Me and her had a connection where we could feel each other's feelings.

Jay ran ahead and moved the tall grass aside to reveal a flat, sandy landscape.

"The temple!" Jay shouted, pointing off into the distance. There it was, the stony temple. It looked tiny from this far away, but you could still see it, with moss patched so big, there were small green spots on the stone.

I rushed ahead, beaming, as we saw the Earth temple.

This was where the Earth spirits had their clan.

"Well, let's go find a spirit who will cooperate with us," I said as I walked toward it.

A few more minutes of walking, and we reached the temple doors. I ripped earth element moss from the stone wall for samples. Jay opened the door as I stuffed the moss into a side pocket of the satchel.

"Woah," Jay breathed as she saw the inside. There was a purple glow that spread all over the inside, with purple lanterns strewn in various places on the wall. The purple Earth spirits danced with each other, moving to the tune of the soft music in the background.

A spirit had noticed them from the right side of the room. "Hello. It's been a while since we had a visitor."
