Jade’s POV
‘And that is how I actually came her’ I finished my story. I watched at the Cullen family, everyone apart. I saw a muscular guy with short hair, a beautiful girl that tried to ignore me, a guy with bronze hair that looks really friendly, a woman that looked like the mom I never really had, a man that looked really kind and wise with his blond hair, a pixie looking small girl and the guy that saved me, with his curly hair. They all stared at me in disbelieve. How could a girl, because I was 17 when I turned into a vampire, had been trough more than they did in their whole lives, and she only in 3 years? I could see the face of the curly guy, that if I have it correct was called Jasper, that I wasn’t the only one with a story. ‘without my gift I wouldn’t be here’ I said. They directly paid attention again. Gift? ‘what’s your gift then?’ Carlisle asked. It was quite funny, because Edward, Jasper and I said at precisely the same moment: ‘I (but they said she) can say no to everything.’ And I looked at the other faces.
Rosalie burst out in laughing. Everyone looked at her. Finally she could talk again, and said ‘you call that a gift?’ and she directly started laughing again. I gave her a death glare. ‘yes it is a gift’ I said. ‘I can not only say no in a conversation, but I can say no against other gifts as well. And things that I don’t want to do. How do you think I ever survived my first 7 months as vampire?’ Rosalie directly stopped laughing. ‘you could just stop the burning in your throat? Just resist the need for blood?’ Carlisle said surprised. I nodded. There was only one thing I couldn’t say no to. The pain of a broken heart. I had seen my love die. I still knew who it was. It was a small girl with blonde hair, that looked like a girl. ‘Jane’ Edward said. Everyone looked surprised at him, me inclusive. I knew how she looked, but not the name. I nodded, and I was directly sad again. I knew a name, but when even the Cullen clan knew her, meant that she was important. Edward nodded. I felt ice-cold. Colder than a vampire should be.
Jasper’s POV
Jade, what was the name of the girl, was done talking. I felt an amazing amount of sadness filling the little body of her. After Edward nodded, it only became worse. I sent her a little bit of calmness. She looked really surprised. I could see and feel that she didn’t really got what was going on. ‘I’m sorry, we forgot to tell you about our gifts’ I said. ‘I can control emotions and I know what you feel’ ‘so you actually know everything of a person?’ Jade asked. ‘yes, actually I do’ I answered. She nodded. ‘I can read minds’ Edward said. ‘cool’ Jade said. ‘not always’ Edward answered. ‘I often hear things that I don’t want to hear.. But most of the time it’s really useful’ he ended his story. ‘I can see the future’ Alice said. I could see that Jade’s eyes would pop out of her head if she wouldn’t stop staring like that. ‘OMG seriously?’ she said. ‘yes, but I only see visions’ Alice said. Jade nodded. ‘Carlisle has the desire to help people, Esmé can love someone like it’s her own child, Emmett has a lot of muscles and is very strong and Rosalie, Rosalie is beautiful’ I ended my story. Really soft, so that the rest could not hear what I said I said ‘and she is a bitch’ and I saw Jade laughing. Everyone stared at us. Then I laughed as well.
Bella's POV
It was so much fun with Jake! But it’s always fun when Jake is with me. I can just forget my problems, and what I am. And what he is. I shook my head to just forget that. I had to look to the future, not in the now. Could I stay here forever? Should I move when the time was there? I didn’t knew. I walked around in the house. I walked to the bathroom and watched too my mirror image. I saw a normal woman of 32 years old. I putted my shield “out” and I saw what I really was. A 17 year old, totally white, beautiful, gold eyed vampire. It was actually quite funny. Jacob didn’t knew that I was a vampire. With my shield I could cover everything. I can show everyone what I want to show them. The only reason that he became a werewolf is because there’s a vampire in town. For 15 years they are searching, but still they haven’t found the vampire. And the absolutely hilarious part of it is that they all talk to me, say goodbye and are all my friends, but actually enemies. That’s the reason that I won’t tell them. Because we will be enemies.
