Chapter 12: who are you?

Chapter 12



Seth’s POV



I hided in a bush and then I saw something I didn’t want to see. A vampire moving really fast and breaking Jake’s leg. It was really disgusting to see a leg lying in an impossible angle. Then, Jacob shifted back to a human. The vampire hided itself. Jacob laid down for a second, and that was a mistake. The vampire came over to him and hit him just behind his ear. I saw Jacob’s eyes turning away, even from a distance. ‘Sleep well, mutt’ the vampire said. It was a woman voice. Another vampire walked over to the woman and they started a conversation. ‘Nice work Brandy! Only one thing’ a male vampire said. ‘Tell me, master’ Brandy said. The man ripped of her head and set it on fire. ‘I don’t like you’ he said. ‘Quite smart from me to use her’ the man said. ‘and what about you’ the man said and he looked to Jacob. I couldn’t stop myself anymore and I jumped on him from behind. Before he knew what was going on, I ripped his head off and threw him on the fire of the woman. I immediately walked over to Jacob to see if everything was alright.



Before I walked to Jacob I first shifted back. I knew the pack was coming soon and I knew everything will be alright. OMG what am I trying to do? I’m alone in a forest with maybe more vampires with a friend that passed out and has a broken leg! I decided to do the best thing I could do. Waiting for something. When I sat next to the not-moving body of Jacob, I felt how sleepy I actually were. I knew I couldn’t resist it and I fell asleep.



Bella’s POV



When I heard that Jake ran away, followed by Seth, I knew that there was something going on. The pack didn’t want to talk to me anymore, so I had to do it myself. The Cullens I told nothing. I knew they wouldn’t let me go if I told them. In some kind of way I liked it. Especially the fact that Edward cared about my safety.. But I knew for sure that he didn’t felt for me what I felt for him. I shook my head and followed the scent of Seth again. I knew I would find him within an hour or 2. I speeded up for the last part of my journey. In some kind of way I knew that I didn’t had to be late. 

The scent of Seth and Jacob where really strong over here. I knew I had found them. But another scent jumped in. A sweet scent. And I saw purple smoke going up. I rushed the last few meters to see Seth sleeping against a tree and Jacob next to him. I knew that there was something wrong. And then I saw the impossible angle of Jake’s leg. I rushed over to Seth and tried to wake him up. I really had to shout in his ears. ‘Huh, what?’ he said. ‘I would like to know that as well’ I said. He was surprised to see me, and even more surprised to see me as vampire. But then he relaxed again. He knew I was a vampire and he didn’t cared at all. ‘What’s going on?’ I asked. ‘Well, a long story short, vampires almost killed Jacob, I killed the vampires, Jacob broke his leg and he passed out like 8 hours ago. Wait, 8 hours ago? OMG I’ve been sleeping for a long time!’ he said before jumping up. ‘How can we get him home? And where do we have to bring him after that?’ Seth said. ‘I’ll carry him, and I think to Carlisle. Other doctors would mention his body temperature.’ I said. Seth nodded. He didn’t knew who Carlisle was but he did know that he would find out soon.



Jacob’s POV



It has been black for a while already and it started to bore me. Think of seeing a movie for the 100th time. You know what everyone is going to say. I knew that with the black. And black said nothing. No, that’s too much for the black! After a while I felt something cold. It was ice-cold. Somewhere, far away in my brains, I knew that kind of coldness. I wanted to open my eyes and see who/what was so cold, but I couldn’t. That annoyed me even more. I tried to move anything, but I couldn’t. I was captured in the dark forever!



Edward’s POV

‘Has anyone seen Bella?’ I asked to no one in person. Nobody had seen her. I sighed. Was she mad at me? Had I done something wrong? Was she an emotional wreck at the moment and does she need support? 1001 questions flied threw my head. And I had none answers. And then I heard something. It was Seth, saying that Bella was with him! He said I had to get Carlisle or whatever, he surely didn’t knew where he was thinking about. 2 seconds later, Alice said: ‘We have to get Carlisle’ I nodded. ‘Can anyone tell us what’s going on? I don’t have a gift or so’ Emmett said. ‘Actually, I don’t know myself either’ I said. He nodded and shouted that Carlisle had to come downstairs. You could hear that Emmett himself wanted to know why.



Jacob’s POV



Finally, I opened my eyes! I stared at some kind of roof or so, and I was laying in a bed. I got up a bit and I saw a small room with all kinds of things Indians would own. And also posters from wolves. I moved my legs to the side of the bed. I immediately felt an enormous pain coming from behind my left ear. I tried to stand up, but I felt down again because this hurts a lot as well. When I took a closer look at my leg I saw that it was in plaster. Then, the door opened and a 17 year old woman came inside rushing over to me. ‘Oh Jake, I’m so happy that you’re awake again! I was so afraid that you would never wake up again!’ she said. After a while she finally stopped hugging me. Who the hell was this woman? ‘I’m sorry lady but can you tell me who you are?’ I said. She started laughing. Then she turned into a 32 year old woman. ‘Remember again?’ she said. To be honest, I had truly no idea who that was. And when I thought about it, I had truly no idea who I was either.
