Summer's P.O.V.
"Bye!" Mia waved to the last girl as she trotted out to her car. "Ughh," she groaned.
I chuckled and took a seat on the stool in front of the island. "What are our plans?" I questioned, attempting to spark a conversation.
"Well-" the door bell interupted Mia and she peeled her eyes from the stove to me. "Wanna get that?"
"Sure, my personal chef," I giggled and slid off the seat.
I shuffle to the door and unlocked it. I turned the knob and cracked open the door, then pulled it fully open.
"Hey, Sum." I looked up to see Jake standing in front of me. And at that moment I wanted to just fall to the floor and break down, but of course I didn't.
"Come in," I motioned to the living room and granted him entrance.
I walked back over to my seat after closing the ajar door. "Mia," I said softly as I sat down, carefully.
"Oh, Jake, you can turn on the telly!" she called turning over the eggs. "Yeah, Sum."
"I have a session with Harry's therapist today. Can you take me?" I twiddled my thumbs around, nervously.
"Mhm," she nodded adding cheese to the omlete.
I mentally sighed. Harry was always my ride to places I both needed and wanted to go to.
"Sum, you can stay here until you sort things out with Harry. You are always welcome," Mia paused. "You know that, right?"
I stared at her at a loss for words, so instead of speaking I stood up and maneuvered around the counter. I walked right up to me Mia and hugged her, tightly. She rubbed my back and whispered assuring words into my ear as I began to sob.
"Go sit with Jake while I plate the food."
"Okay," I forced a smile and headed across the floor border between the kitchen and living space.
"Hey," I sat close to Jake, our bodies barely touching.
"Hey," he said in a girly tone, focusing on the news.
The television flashed random weather reports before changing to 'Celebrity News'.
"In breaking news, the Harry Styles was spotted with three girls who could be made out as Eleanor Calder, Summer Meadows and Gia Fitzgerald. The girls seemed infuriated and began slapping him across the face. And that's all in 'Celebrity News'."
"Oh no."
I heard a gasp coming from behind me and turned around. Mia looked at me with a worried expression, shaking her head.
"Eat or we'll be late," she instructed and I did just that.

"I sometimes feel like a child mostly because I'm treated like one. I cry 90% of the time and people always feel like they need to care for me at all times. I remember when I got pnemonia, I was in the hospital for around a week and there was always somebody watching me 24/7. At some points it was reassuring, but other times it was suffocating," I let out a shaky breath as tears poured from my swollen eyes.
"I see," Karen, my therapist nodded. "Well, I diagnose that this issue sprouted from your childhood. Since you were raised as the typical 'youngest child' your mum felt the need to make sure you were protected, so she basically suffocated you with affection. And due to this, she caused you to need mental support on a daily basis. Making you an unstable mess, as you called it."
