Yoandri's POV

Everything seemed to go back to normal. Mari kept apologizing for what happened with Joel, I told her not to worry about it. I knew it was inevitable and that she was going to face him sooner or later. I'm glad it happened sooner, well before the wedding.Now I see that Mari truly loves me because she has stayed with me despite that incident.

She looks conflicted and I see why. If I'm being honest, so am I. She didn't get the explanation that she wanted and it troubles her. I can see her as she randomly tries to figure out the great mystery of Joel Pimentel and his death.

We've managed to get almost everything ready for the wedding in less than a few days. The guys have really pulled through and we have finally found a way to make it work. I'm happy because Mari is no longer stressing about it.

The wedding is tomorrow and everybody looks excited. The guys wanted to take me out to a bachelor's party, but we decided that having a small dinner as a family was better.

So here we are at our small dining table, just like any other day. Except that today, it holds a special meaning, Even if we don't speak about it, we all know that it's there. We decided that we were going to order take out and be fat, because we're nut cases.

Mariana has Joey in her arms with a big grin on both of their faces. I wish I could take a picture of it, but I know that it'll never compare to seeing that in person. They're both so beautiful and odd, I'm a very lucky person.

"Aye Yoyo, close your mouth before a fly goes in there!" Richard yells from across the table as he stuffs his mouth with a piece of bread.

"You know, it's rude to talk with your mouth full." I teasingly replied.

"Wow Yoyo's getting married and suddenly he knows everything about manners." Richard laughed with his mouth still fool.

I only shook my head in laughter and let that subject go.

"Can you guys believe that you're finally getting married tomorrow? I can't. Yoandri if I were you, I would run away while I still can. Are you sure you wanna be trapped with this lame bum?" Johann joked from beside Mari.

"Boy don't go there." Mariana snapped.

"Oh but I did, what are you going to do about it?" Johann said as he stood up, challenging Mariana.

"Joshua hold my kid." Mari said as she basically threw Joey to Joshua who caught him without any trouble.

"Johann I am sick and tired of you always trying to call me out. Go sit on a pin or something!" Mariana yelled as she slightly pushed Johann.

"Guys stop!" Richard said as he tried to hold back his laughter.

"Mariela, the Grinch called, he wants his outfit back." Johann smartly replied as Mariana put a hand on her chest.

"Oh yeah!? I may dress like the Grinch, but you could possibly be his ugly, dumb twin brother you inconsiderate prick!" Mari scolded.

"Johann you're taking this loss." Richard said as he gasped for air from how hard he was laughing.

Johann let out a heavy sigh "Well played Mariela, well played."

After that scene, we all ate and joked around. It was almost nine when we all decided to call it a night. After long hours of laughing at each other's lame jokes, the guys had finally left.

That night I went to bed with Mariana on my side and the biggest smile on my face.Tomorrow was going to be a good day.
