Mariana's POV

Ever since I was a little girl I had always dreamed of having a perfect wedding. A wedding where all my family would reunite and be happy with one another. A wedding where all my old friends would show up and tell me how happy they were for me. A wedding where I would have the most beautiful white dress and my hair wouldn't be in it's usual mess.

As I stare at my reflection, I notice that the person that's looking back at me is someone I don't recognize. Her long brown hair is in an elegant French updo. Her makeup is simple, yet elegant. Her eyes are gleaming with excitement. Something about her makes it look like she's glowing. She looks alive.

The most captivating thing about her isn't her makeup or hair. It's the dress. A dress that looks like a walking fairytale. I had the type of dress that every little girl dreams of having because it looks like the type that a Disney Princess would wear. Nevertheless, I stay looking at my reflection and wonder if I'm doing the right thing?

Yoandri's POV

As I stand here in the alter I can't help but think that in just a few minutes Mariana and I will be united as one. It'll be Mr. and Mrs. Cabrera from now on and the thought of that couldn't make me happier. I am truly a lucky man.

The small church is decorated with white roses, something simple. A white rose, something that will always remind me of the first time I met Mariana in the middle of the forest. She was the beautiful white rose in the middle of a dark mess.

I hear the music start to play as everyone stands. I look at the door and have to fight the tears that are willing to spill. I must not cry, not today, my momma didn't raise a punk.

Mariana and her father are slowly walking down the aisle. Mariana looks beautiful, no gorgeous. I cannot think of the exact adjective because her beauty cannot compare to them. Mariana looks around at everyone and gives them a small smile.

As she's looking at everyone else, I'm only looking at her. Her brown eyes finally meet mine and she gives me a smile. The type of smile that will make your heart melt and make your eyes start watering all over again.

Mariana and her father finally make it to where I am. Mr. Alfonso takes mine and Mariana's had and murmurs a quiet "Good luck." We both thank him in response and with that he leaves Mariana and I.

Mariana takes both of my hands in her own. We both look at the priest and wait for him to begin. As everybody is looking at him, I take a minute to look at my beautiful bride. She's everything I've ever wanted and more. I believe she feels me looking at her so when she looks back at me, I know that this is exactly what I've always wanted.

Mariana's POV

"Do you, Yoandri Cabrera accept Mariana Rodriguez as your lawfully wedded wife until death tears you apart?" said the priest.

Yoandri looks at me in the eye and gives me a dazzling smile and says "I do."

The priest turns to me with a small glance and asks "Do you, Mariana Rodriguez accept Yoandri Cabrera as your lawfully wedded husband, for better and for worse?"

As I stand here in front of all my family and friends in a stunning white dress, I can't believe what's actually happening. I look at my unconditional friends, Joshua, Johann and Richard all standing here with us because I decided not to have bridesmaids. They look impeccable in their coordinated suits.

I look at my little boy, Joey, who is carefully watching us with those big eyes of his. Eyes that remind me of Joel everytime I look him. I couldn't help but notice that Joel was the big puzzle missing in this colorful portrait.

I take a minute to look at every person who holds a special place in my heart. I see their smiles, I see their laughs. I see some of them nodding in approvement. I look at Yoandri and give him a small smile. He smiles back.

A part of me hopes to hear that quiet shout in the background. A shout that will make a difference and will cause a stir in the crowd. I know it won't happen. So I look Yoandri right in the eye and squeeze his hand a bit tighter.

"I do." I say as I try to hold back the tears. This is it.
