Introduction

SOPHIA

Sophie Dawn was a 15 year old nerd. Whenever you saw her she was holding at least one book, or she was being picked up on by Luke and Darren. Nobody ever stood up for her, she was quiet and if anyone had heard her voice outside of class, they were looking for the person who spoke. You see, in class she was confident, but outside, she felt like a fish out of the water.

She had long brown hair and stunning blue eyes, framed by a pair of black glasses and adorable freckles on her face. Her head was always down, so she was nearly invisible and nobody ever talked to her.

At home she was always alone. Her mother worked as a translator, so she was always away and her dad was at rehab from alcohol. Sophia studied all day and was online for about an hour at night, for studying purposes again. She didn't have a life. She was all by herself.

She was an outcast.

ELIZABETH

Liz Thorn was a rebel, at the age of 15, what would you expect? Whatever they told her not to do, she did. Her father was in prison for drug dealing and her mother was a drunk. She was an only child and she had to be the one taking care of her mom so she could go to work, but never paid a visit at her dad because they never got along. Her hair was black, short and messy all the time. She had dark brown eyes that were mostly hidden by tufts of her hair.

At school she was that one kid that makes noise in class, argues with the teachers and gets expelled once a month at least. She skips school, everyone calls her a freak and asks her private and disturbing questions and she either scares them away or shrugs it off.

She was an outcast.

MICHAEL

Mike Sharp was a 16 year old gamer. At school he would try and be as good as possible to make his parents proud, even though he didn't need to. His dad was a pilot and his mom didn't have a job because she stayed at home and took care of his younger siblings. He had brown hair and dark green eyes, that reminded everyone of grass.

Bullies surrounded him, mostly, because he was much better than them in any online game known. Since he beat them online, they beat him in real life. Why him and not any other gamer that beat them? Because Mike was black and they so racist that they couldn't handle "being beaten by a black guy". Stupid racists. His biggest trouble was hiding the bruises from his mother.

He was an outcast.

JACOB

Jake Light was another story. His parents had died 9 years back, when he was 6 and he lived with his grandpa ever since. His brother was with his parents on the bus, when it spun and killed all the passengers and a few nearby drivers.

Everybody laughed at him for not having parents, as if it was his fault. His grandfather loved him with all his heart and it was enough for him, even though he missed his parents and brother every day. Jake had black hair and chocolate brown eyes. If he wasn't bullied, he would surely be one of the most popular kids at school, but he was an orphan and people thought that was bad.

He was an outcast.

CHARLES

Charlie King lived in the most infamous neighborhood of the city. His family had economical problems and they could barely afford some food and the rent. Living without a computer was the least of his problems, even though nobody can imagine a 16 year old without a PC. He had a part-time job as a waiter near the school, so he could go right after finishing with classes. He had dirty blonde hair and light green eyes that everyone avoided because they showed pain.

Well, you can imagine why he was bullied. They laughed at him because of his luck, but he didn't complain. He always thought he would be something more one day and he held on on that idea. He was an optimist.

He was an outcast.

They were all outcasts.
And that was the only thing they had in common until that day...
