I touched down in Brazil at around noon. Being here took me on a nostalgic trip to when me and Jamie went to Mykonos. This country was beyond stunning. The only wish I had was to be sharing it with Jamie together as a couple but at the moment that wasn't possible.
I chose a hotel that was a couple buildings down from Alessia's apartment. It was a bold move staying real close to the place where Jamie was living but I didn't care. I wanted to see her badly. I needed to talk with Nicole. With her I felt like I still had a connection with Jamie.
Jamie's POV
The show was in 48 hrs and I had to stay in shape.

I was in my room doing sit ups. Little beads of sweat were running down my forehead and I could feel my tummy burning but I had to keep going.
I heard a knock at the door and got up to get it. "Hey Nicole what's up?" I said while putting my hair in a ponytail.
"The real question is why are you still working out? The last time I came in to give you your shake was at 8 am it's now almost noon" "well what can I say? I love exercise!"
"Words that have never come out of my mouth, Anyways I gotta go take care of something, I'll be back in about an hour or so and perhaps we can go out for a walk or something or in your case a "jog""
"Oh my gosh a jog sounds perfect right now! Now hurry on and come back" I smiled. She playfully rolled her eyes and left.
Nicole's POV
Saul had texted me that he had arrived in Brazil and wanted to see me as soon as possible so when I got the chance I headed over to his hotel.
I knocked on his door and he answered it looking groggy. "Hey...., I'm guessing I woke you up? damn my bad" "no it's cool it's my fault for falling asleep but I'm so glad to see you!" He reached for a hug.
"I know it's always good to see me" I said while putting the back off my hands under my chin and fluttering my eye lashes. "I'm kidding lol but it's good to see you too" he laughed. "you haven't changed a bit" "is that a good thing or bad thing?" "It's good, why would it be bad?"
"Oh lol I don't know, Saul you know good and damn well I'm a little slow sometimes.. Yeah I'm funny and all but sometimes my gears get stuck if you know what I mean" I said while tapping the side of my head. He laughed super hard.
"Wow Nicole you really know how to make someone laugh, come in" he said while still laughing. I made a questioning face and pretended to laugh as well. I honestly didn't find it that funny but if it made him laugh well then so be it I guess.
"So let's get down to business because I gotta go on a jog with Jamie in like an hour" I said while checking my watch and rolling my eyes. "why are you rolling your eyes for?" "Did you like bang your head against something and somehow lose your memory? Because clearly you have forgotten what I'm like and what I like for instance I hate working out!"
"I'm offended that's all I do 24/7" "boy don't flatter yourself we all know that, anyways let me reintroduce myself since you forgot about me" I got up, walked to the door and back to where we were sitting and reached out my hand.
"Hi I'm Nicole Marie Ambrosio, I'm 23 years old, I love to cook, I love to party, and I looooove food and of course I love to eat. I hate working out and watching my weight therefore I really dgaf about a lot of things anyways.. Let's cut to the chase because we all know why I'm here"
"Okay Mrs. Nicole Marie what's new with Jamie" "well she's the same I think she stopped the self harm for now because of the show but her eating habits have been very bad. Eating little to nothing but I've been giving her these meal replacement shakes to keep her on track"
I pulled one out of my purse to show him. "even though I'm her sister/bestfriend she only listens to me so much. I'm really hoping you guys can reconcile so you can help her out because if not I'm afraid I'll have to check her into a hospital and I don't think she wants that. I truly believe you could help her overcome these habits since she was crazy in love and when she fell for you she fell hard"
"I get it. I've been thinking of ways to approach her and in the tone and body language I'm going to use. Honestly just thinking about it gets me anxious and makes me a little nervous the kind of feeling I get before a match. But anyways I promise I'm going to make things right"
"Good" I smiled and looked around the room as an awkward silence fell between us. I watched him play with his watch as he stared at the ground. "You really wanna see her don't you?" I sighed.
"I'll tell you what, after me and Jamie's jog, I'm going to take her to the cafe down the street called Confeitaria Colombo, now keep in mind you have to keep your distance and not be seen because it will just stir things up and we don't want that 48 hours before the show. So you'll need a disguise like a cap and some sunglasses obvi and wear something like a sweater to cover up, obviously a sweater without your damn logo on it."
"But I own no such thing" "seriously? You're kidding" "I'm actually not but I'll get one downstairs at the gift shop" "okay wow I've never met someone so full of themselves" "oh stop it Nic lol I gotta represent everywhere I go" "yeah sure but right now its not the time or place also looking at you now you are really freaking pale. Have you ever considered a tan?" I said while interlocking my fingers and setting them down on my legs. He laughed. "I've been asked that like a million times haha but no I have not" "well considered it" I said as I laughed a little.
"Anyways I gotta go but this is your chance to see her physically. I want you to really be observant. Take a really good look at her and see how bad these habits have taken over her body. I just want you to see how real this is and that I'm not exaggerating. I'll text you 10 minutes before we get there alright"
"Yeah, okay I will" "okay well anyways I gotta run like literally with Jamie but I'll see you at the cafe" "okay I'll see you then" "mmkay well don't forget the sweater" "I won't"
I kinda felt bad telling him what I did just now because his emotions and face expressions completely changed. But at the same time it was his actions that got him into this situation causing Jamie to spiral down.
I quickly left the hotel and went back home. "Nic has arrived! Jamie you ready to go?" I saw Jamie's head creep out of her room "omg hell yes!" "Leggo"
Jamie's POV
Half way through our jog Nicole stopped. "You okay Nic?" "Yeah I just, I wanna ask you something but I don't want you to get mad and I want a straight answer"
"Okay ask me" "Jamie do you think you'll ever... learn to love Saul again?" To be honest It didn't bother me that she asked me that because I knew that she was just curious and cared for my feelings.
"I don't know. What he did really changed my perception of him. That relationship was a dream, then a reality, now a memory. It's inevitable everything good comes to an end just like the amazing love and connection I had with him" "do you miss him?"
"I'd be lying if I said no but at the same time I have this hate for him. I just I don't know what to feel" I looked into the ocean and reminisced for a little "I mean I miss the way he used to look at me and the way he used to kiss me and those amazing hugs he gave ... I can't believe I just said all that. It's just .... It's crazy how just like that he's a memory to me. I really thought we going to be together forever but I guess not....."
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to bring up old news. It's just a question I needed to ask because I was genuinely curious about" "it's okay I understand" "anyways let's finish this jog because I'm hungry and wanna eat at that restaurant down the street from Alessia's place" "oh Nicole when are you not hungry?" "Never girl you know I loveeee to eat"
