I stepped out of the shower and put my robe on. As I went up to my mirror I heard Nicole blasting Birthday Sex by Jeremih. I shook my head and went to her room. "Seriously Nic" she was taking a Snapchat video and pointed it to me "what it just casually came on" "no it didn't and their is no funny business happening tonight" "oop you heard that Saul no funny business for you tonight" she smirked and I gasped. "Oh my god stop you are not sending that to him" "oh but I am" she stopped recording and sent it. "I can't stand you sometimes" I shook my head and laughed and went back to getting ready.
I was downstairs checking my phone real quick when I got a notification that the Uber was here. "Nicole cab is here" I yelled in my best Pauly D accent. "Coming I'm just putting on my heels"
On our way there Saul FaceTimed me. "What is my favorite girl up to?" "Oh you know just birthday tings" I laughed. "We're on our way to the restaurant I told you about" "sounds fun you look gorgeous by the way" "aww thank you but you don't think it's too much?" I said as I lowered the camera to show the rest of my body "wow not at all it's perfect, wish I was there to see it in person" I blushed. "Alright love I have to go we're pulling up, call me later?" "Yes bye baby" "bye" I made kiss face and hung up.
We got sat down at our reserved table. It's crazy how much things have changed. Like who were we? Sitting in reserved vip areas, like what? We were just some girls living in a small town, with regular everyday lives and now things were different. It was just crazy to think.
"So are you upset that Saul didn't attend your birthday dinner?" "I mean I'm not going to lie, I do wish he was here but I understand his busy schedule so we can celebrate another time" "oh I see" Nicole said with a smirk. "Not like that you nasty ... well maybe..." "Jamie! look at you, turned into a freak and all! Where's the innocent Jamie I knew?" "She's still here but she's new and improved" "yassss let's toast to that"
Nicole served us my favorite wine of all time, Tignanello and we toasted to my self improvement. Now don't get me wrong. Change can be a good thing and the only way I changed were some ways I did things and let go of people that were serving no purpose in my life, toxic people if you will.
"So Jamie to ends this amazing birthday dinner I thought we'd end it with something doce as we say in Brazil and I know it's your favorite so you can't refuse it. She made a signal to one of the waiters and before they came she took out her phone and took a picture of me to post on Instagram.

Canelo's POV
My schedule was tight at the moment and their was no way I could get off. Training was intense and having to stay in my weight limit was a challenge.
I hated the fact that I had to miss Jamie's birthday it's just with the match being so close it was impossible to go with all the preparations. But I was going to make it up to her.
I had a game plan. She told me what restaurant in L.A. she was going to so I sent someone that morning to leave Jamie's birthday surprise. She was going to be so surprised. I update Nicole on what was about to go down and she was going to record it al for me.
Jamie's POV
After we finished the strawberry cheesecake Nicole got me we decided it was time to go.
As we were walking outside a black Bentley Continental GT pulled up with a red ribbon on it.
There was absolutely no way this was for me, it was probably just a coincidence and maybe it was some other persons birthday in the restaurant, but we started drawing a crowd.
Then some guy handed me an iPad with a video of Saul on it. "Hey Jamie I'm sorry I couldn't be there for your birthday dinner so I want to make it up for now with this little present I hope you like it and have fun but not to much without me" he smiled and blew me a kiss
I smiled and shed a couple tears of joy. I couldn't believe Saul got me such an opulent present. I was at a loss of words. I put my hands over my face and began to cry. Nicole came over and hugged me, which is what I needed. I wasn't crying because I was sad, I was crying because I was in shock. I was actually happy inside. This was the best day of my life, hands down, well besides the day Saul asked me to be his girlfriend.
