A whole year has passed and I was no longer an intern at the Michael Kors headquarters turns out Mr. Kors really liked my work ethic that he let me work with him on designs and even do some modeling gigs here and there.
I was in my office doing some work when I heard an small knock at the door. "Hey Jamie whats up?" "Oh hey Theo how are you?"
Theo was a co worker of mine but he was strictly a model. "I'm good, I brought you some coffee and an avocado toast" "oh
my gosh thank you so much"
"No problem I know you're super busy and well breakfast is the most important meal of the day" "thank you, I really appreciate this. So are you ready for next weeks fashion show?" "Ready as can be" "great because I'm working my butt off to make sure everything is top of the top"
"Does that mean you're not going to be in the show?" He made a pout. "No I am actually, it's just since Mr. Kors knows I'm business savvy he wanted me to be a part of the "getting the show ready" process and well I don't mind since it gives me an insight look at how things go behind the scenes"
"Ah I see well knowing that you're part of the team for this show means it will be perfect" "what are you trying to say by that?" "Nothing really. I'm just complimenting your work ethic and anything you do is appraised by Michael so I'm just saying you're really good at what you do"
"Well thank you. That was a very genuine thing of you to say" "no problem. So...I was wondering maybe we can go get coffee or something the day after the show as a little celebration thing?" "Um yeah sure no problem. But anyways I gotta run, see you around" "yeah okay bye"

Thank god it was Friday. It was 5pm and I was currently getting some veggies out of the fridge to cook for dinner. When I got a call from Saul.
Saul: Hey baby how are you?
Jamie: I'm good, just making dinner
Saul: What are you making?
Jamie: Grilled chicken and veggies
Saul: Sounds good baby
Jamie: yeah so where are you babe? Are you gonna make it home by the time it's done?
He sighed
Saul: Unfortunately love I'm in the hospital I injured my ankle
Jamie: Oh my god are you going to be okay?
Saul: Don't worry I'm going to be okay baby girl it's just I won't be able to box for a little while until I fully recover
Jamie: oh my, okay I'm on way
Saul: okay be careful baby
Jamie: I will see you soon
I quickly packed some food and headed to the hospital.
I walked up to the lady at the front desk. "Hi can you please tell me what room Saul Alvarez is in?" " It depends who you are. I can't release that information to just anybody."
"I'm his girlfriend Jamie Blackwell" "let's see here Jamie ....." She typed in her computer.
"okay you are on the authorized list. He is in room 1024, just a take a left down this hall and it'll be 4 doors down" "thank you"
I went inside the room quietly so I wouldn't wake him up if he was asleep, but he wasn't he was on his phone.
"Hey love how are you feeling?" I said while running my thumb on his hand. "I'm good baby but I'm mildly in pain" "oh I'm sorry, is there anything I can do to help?" "No you're fine I'm just glad you're here with me" I smiled.
"Are you hungry love?" "Starving actually" "okay well I brought you some food so my champ can recover quick and be back on his feet" I said while giving him a kiss on the lips and getting his food.
I spent the night at the hospital with him. The next day he was released after they did a few more x-Rays. "How are you feeling Saul?" "It hurts a lot but I'll be fine once I take my medications. What about you how did you sleep?" "Um I slept pretty... uh good" I said while popping my back. "babe you're such a bad liar" he laughed.
"I know but in all honesty it was horrible that couch is the most uncomfortable thing ever. I think I'm going to need a massage" I said while stretching.
As soon as I said that the doctor came in letting Saul know he was released and needed to be on bed rest for a couple of weeks to make sure he didn't damage his ankle furthermore.
It was going to take about 6 weeks for him to recover. This was going to be a tough job since I had to balance my work life and caring for Saul's needs. I let him know that I was going to be there for him when he needed me. I would drop my job in a heart beat to be there for him if I needed to.
