I decided to keep that one to myself instead of posting it. He moved a little before waking up completely. "Thank you baby" I sat on his lap. "How does it feel being 24" "not much different than 23"
I smiled "oh okay well I don't have your gift on the plane but I have something else in mind that can make up for it" he raised an eyebrow. "Let's go in the restroom"
He thought about it for a split second. "babe isn't it too small in there" "I think we can make it work" I said as I ran my finger down his jawline and kissed him.
I got up as I held his hand and led the way. He sat me down in the sink area and closed the door. What else can I say? We joined the mile high club!
It was around 2 pm when we arrived at LAX. We were exhausted from the long plane ride so we headed to his place and took a nap. I woke up 5 hours later hungry as can be and headed to the kitchen. After grabbing a snack I sat down on a stool at the kitchen island looking through my phone. I texted Nicole to let her know we were back.
Jamie: NICS! were back in the states love. I miss you like crazy 💕 Nicole: omg yay I'm so glad you're back! I've missed you so much too 😭❤️ Jamie: I'm spending the night with Saul but I'll be back home tomorrow Nicole: aww okay I'll see you tomorrow so you can tell me everything Jamie: will do, love you girly Nicole: love you back 😘
A couple minutes later a groggy Canelo came through the hallway rubbing his eyes. "Hey love how did you sleep?" I got up to give him a kiss. "amazing but it would have been better if you were next to me when I woke up"
He moved the chair to the side and picked me up then sat me down on the kitchen counter and began to kiss me passionately. I knew what he wanted again. After all it was still his birthday and I mean when it comes down to it, its the best time of the year. He kissed my neck so sweetly as he ran his hands up and down my thighs. I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted him. I wrapped my legs around him signaling for him to take us to his bedroom to continue.
After love making for the second time today we layed in bed just talking. He didn't want to do anything else today but spend it with me at home. We had definitely worked up an appetite so I went into the kitchen to cook us dinner.
"Let me help you" "no it's okay, I got it" "but I want to" "if you insist birthday boy... Have I told you how cute you are with your red hair and freckles" I pinched his cheek.
I prepared his favorite dish, Mexican shrimp with rice. Well I guess you can say we since he insisted on helping. He started the rice while I seasoned the shrimp.
An hour later we were ready to eat. I set the table and it was time to eat. "Wow baby girl this is delicious, you can seriously cook" "I can't take all the credit, you helped as well" "yeah but barely" I smiled. "I guess watching the food network all those years paid off then"
After eating we sat on the couch and watched a movie. I snuggled up into his chest and could here his heart beat which was so therapeutic. I started thinking about a lot just laying there. Nothing bad of course, just about life. Not only that but I really loved this man. He was my everything.
I looked up at him so see if he was awake. He looked down at me and smiled. "What baby?" "Nothing I was just checking if you were awake" "I am" he said while he played with hair. "Did you have a good birthday? I'm sorry we didn't do something more fun like you did with me"
"This is a birthday I'll never forget because I got to spend it with you. Every other birthday I've had has either been spent with family, which don't get me wrong I don't mind but that besides the point, or training, or somewhere I didn't want to be at surrounded by people I didn't care about it. Today I got to spend it with someone I love and adore. Today was intimate and special and I enjoyed every minute of it. From the plane ride to right now. So no I didn't expect anything materialistic or a vacation or anything at all. I just wanted to be with my significant other and I got my wish so thank you"
I didn't know what to say when he said that so I just kissed him and laid my head back down on his shoulder. We continued watching the movie until we both fell asleep.
