I secured everything and as I was about to leave I bumped into Theo. "ah if it isn't Jamie, Mr. Kors' favorite employee" "What's that supposed to mean?" "Oh nothing I'm just stating facts, the man loves your work ethic"
"And I'm honored..." I smiled. "Anyways I gotta get going I'll see you tomorrow okay?" "okay bye Jamie" "bye" I winked as I picked up my stuff and left.
*Fashion Show Day*
It was a mad house inside the venue. Everyone was trying to get everything right since this was a top notch designer and everything had to be perfect for the celebs who were expecting a spectacular show.
I was in the back helping with getting everything lined up for the models to transition easily from one outfit to the other. Models started arriving from Kendall Jenner to Romee Strijd. Their bodies were banging. I showed them where hair and make up was and where their first outfit was.
I couldn't help but get a wave of nerves since this would be my first time on a runway. I mean I'm sure I was going to be okay since in the past year I got plenty of practice from some of Michael's best modeling teachers. I think the fact that Saul couldn't be here to support me for my first show was upsetting but I completely understand the circumstances as to why he couldn't come.
The show started and everything was running smoothly. Once I knew my part was coming up I got my hair and makeup done and changed into what I was supposed to wear.
I was waiting by the stage entrance to make my debut appearance on a runway and it was time. I started walking and all of a sudden I wasn't nervous at all. I kept a straight face and tried not to look to much into the lights.
Once I was done and back stage I was super happy and filled with adrenaline. I wanted to do it again! I congratulated all the models on how great they were and gave them a hug.
The show was amazing but I was ready to go home. I went into my car, and decided to get on Twitter since I had multiple notifications. I was so happy when I saw who the tweets were from.

I pulled up to Saul's condo and parked. When I opened the door I made sure to go in quietly so I wouldn't wake him up if he was asleep and surely enough he was.
I went to the kitchen and made some tea because I wasn't at that sleepy yet. I got on my phone and saw I had a text from Theo.
Theo: hey I saw your big debut tonight and you were amazing congrats"
Jamie: thanks that's really sweet
Theo: yeah so did you forget about our going out for coffee as a little celebration?
Jamie: oh my gosh I actually did I'm so sorry look can we go tomorrow I really am exhausted
Theo: don't worry about it that's fine
Jamie: thank you for understanding goodnight
Theo: goodnight
I really needed to talk to someone so I texted Nicole.
Jamie: Nicole are you awake I really need someone to talk to?
Nicole: baby girl you know I'm always here for you what's up? wait just come to my room?
Jamie: I'm at Saul's but I'm on my way
Nicole: okay see ya in a bit
I drove over to our apartment. "Hey girly are you okay" "yeah I'm fine I just wanted to talk to you about some things and you're the only person I can trust with this stuff" "alright what's going on? You know you can always confide in me" "well. um where do I begin.. I just.. I don't know girl I feel like lately me and Saul are distant you know. Things just aren't the same like they used to be" "why do you say that?" "he's not as affectionate as he use to be and lately he seems too busy and doesn't have time for me anymore it's like I don't even know who he is anymore"
"Jamie.. baby girl, look I don't just want to put my 2 cents in because this is between you and him but maybe this wedge in your relationship is due to the fact that you're both at the peak of your careers. Time heals all. Give it some time and try to show some love and affection yourself. You as well have to put in effort to make things work"
"You're right Nicole, well it's getting late you don't mind if I go back to Saul's do you?" "No love, go and be with him. Don't forget I'm always here for you and congrats on tonight" "thanks doll" I hugged her and went back to Saul's place.
I got home and went straight to bed. Saul was laying on his side facing me and I gently caressed his face. I turned around and silently cried. I hated feeling like this.
