We were currently making our way to the cafe. "That was a nice jog actually considering I hate exercise" "well I'm glad you enjoyed it"
I texted Saul to tell him we were on our way. Getting there we sat at a table overlooking the ocean. I casually looked around to try and spot him. When I couldn't find him I shot him another text.
Nicole: Yo where you at?? Saul: I'm wearing a black hoodie and like 4 seats to your right behind Jamie Nicole: way to be subtle redhead lol no I'm kidding but can you kind of hear us talk at least? Saul: Yeah kinda but it's okay I'm not really here to eavesdrop I'm just here to see my baby girl and she looks so beautiful Nicole: like always Saul: you're absolutely right
The waitress came around and I was ready to order. "oi eu posso obter o prato coxinha de frango com arroz e abacate e uma limonada por favor" (Hi can I get the chicken coxinha dish with rice and avocado and a lemonade please)
She wrote it down and looked towards Jamie. She just shook her head in a no motion so I once again told the waitress "também uma salada de frutas e água, por favor" (Also a fruit salad and water, please)
"Anyways so the show is in 2 days, i bet you're super excited" "A lot. Walking the runway makes me happy" "I'm so proud of you and this is only the beginning" "thank you Nicole that means a lot. What would I do without you?"
"Aww Jai don't make me cry out here in public" "hug? Over the table?" I laughed a little "sure anything for you love"
The waitress came out shortly with our food. "Damn Nicole you're going to eat all that?" "Nope this fruit salad and water is for you" "Nic but I'm not hungry." "Jai could you just please eat a few pieces for me?" I watched her pick up her fork slowly. "Fine"
I got a text from Saul.
Saul: I wish I was sitting at that table with you guys she looks so adorable eating Nicole: I'm gonna tell her that right now
"So Jamie has anyone ever told you that you eat adorably?" "Lol what?" "Yeah like when you eat you look adorably cute" "no, not that I know of" "oh well you do so I thought I'd let you know" "ha okay" she said while she made a 'is-she-ok-face?'
Saul's POV
Jamie looked beautiful as always except she was looking a little on the unhealthy side. It was a known fact that she had relapsed and needed help.
It took every bit of strength in me to not get up to hug and hold her. I missed her like no other. My plan was to approach her after her show and talk things out. I know she probably didn't want to talk to me but I just needed a few minutes of her time to explain how the situation was. Was I guilty? Yes. Because I did kiss the other woman but I did not sleep with her.
All I wanted was Jamie back and how things used to be. I know that if she did give me another chance things would have to change because she had a career of her own and I have mine which would intervene in our love life. But for now I didn't care about that. All I cared about was getting her back, the rest could be resolved later.
Right now she needs me more than ever and even though we broke up, I will always love and care for her. No matter if down the road, God forbid she's with someone else, I will always check on her and see how she is. Just goes to show how much of an impact a person you love so much can have on you life.
I decided to text Nicole and tell her I was going to go back to the hotel. Seeing Jamie live in person for the first time in awhile made me get a little sentimental.
Besides I had to meet up with my brother Victor, my dad, Eddy and Chepo back at the hotel room. I flew them out because I didn't want to be alone at the show looking like some loner, desperate ex, even though not many new about our break up but regardless I needed them here with me.
Jamie's POV
*A couple days later*
Today was the fashion show and I was majorly excited but I couldn't help but feel a little low on energy and kind of dizzy. That wasn't going to stop me though so I just shook it off and let the makeup artist and hairstylist do their thing.
Michael came to the makeup and hair area to congratulate me. "Thank you so much for this great opportunity. I truly am really grateful for it" "don't thank me Jamie, thank your talent and hard work" I just smiled.
I started changing into my first outfit and let me tell you it was a drag, with the little energy I had and the way I was feeling. This wasn't the first time I felt like this. Ever since the breakup I started feeling like this more often.
I crouched down to get my phone out of my purse when Nicole approached me. "Okay Jamie babe let me take a picture of you to remember how beautiful you look" I made a kissy face.

"Alright thank you, I'll see you out there beauty queen" I winked. I was by the stage entrance waiting for my cue to go. From where I was standing, I could see all the seats filled with people. I wasn't really all that nervous because it was a small exclusive show.
The song started and it was time for me to go. I stepped out and I felt right in my zone.
When I was walking back I swear I saw Saul from the corner of my eye. If it was him why in the hell was he even here?
As soon as I was backstage I had to get ready for the next segment of the show. I couldn't really stop and chat but I managed to quickly text Nicole.
Jamie: am I loosing it or did I just see Saul in the crowd? Nicole: nope he is in fact here Jamie: WHAT!? Why!? Oh my- I can't even begin to express how angry I am right now!
I knew Nicole had something to do with Saul being here. I was finally getting into my last outfit to close the show and I was relieved that it was over.
Getting backstage, I ran my fingers through my hair and let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding in. I was surprised by everyone congratulating me. Their was still so much energy in the back that they decided to pop bottles and throw a little after party right then and there which was great and all but I was feeling so queasy that all I wanted to do was get back home. I checked my Instagram real quick to like all the pictures that Nicole tagged me in.

~Couple things, so the girl in the pictures is obviously not Daniella Monet (Jamie) but Kendall Jenner since in reality Daniella has never been on a runway and well I needed some pics so I just used Kendall's and covered her eyes. Anyways I wanted to update in honor of Canelo's fight tonight. Even though he doesn't need it because we all know our baby is good and ready, I still want to wish him luck and I hope all goes well. I'll make sure to update soon. Love you guys 💕
