"Wow!" I gasped as I walked out into the clearing where the lake was.

The moon hung above the lake, it was bigger than any other nights and it shone brightly down at it, the lake's water glistening. The grass and woods were a dark green whereas the water was dark blue. Wind lightly blew around me, tucking at my clothers and messing with my hair. It was as if I was in a painting.

"You made it." Nate said, smiling and walking up to me.

"Yeah, sorry for the long wait, I got lost." I replied, smiling back.

"Lost? How can you get lost, we've run through these woods so many times." Nate said, confused.

"Uh, yeah, I know but everything looks the same at night so it's still a little tricky to find the way." I lied.

I wasn't going to tell him what really happened. It was my secret.

"Huh, okay then. Well, look what I got in the meantime." He stepped aside to reveal a chest, sitting by the foot of the lake.

"You got the tressure!" I smiled.

"Yep. It wasn't easy, but I did it." Nate said proudly.

I laughed and attacked him, wrapping my arms around his upper body and hugging him. Nate took two steps back because of the force and laughed as well before hugging me back. We stayed like that for a short amount of time, then, I pulled away.
Walking over to the chest, I sat on my knees in the grass.

"Shall we open it then, see what's inside?" I suggested.

"We shall." Nate agreed, sitting down next to me.

We counted to three and both opened the lid at the same time. Sparkly jewelery and golden coins shimered in the silver moonlight and I laughed slightly, not believing my eyes.

"God, this must be a fortune!" I exclaimed happily.

"Yeah. Too bad we're going to melt it into weapons."

"Well, you're not going to melt everything, right?" I replied, looking up at Nate.

He seemed thoughtful, looking at the golden coins and jewelery.

"What else can we do with such great tressures?" Nate asked.

We both looked at the chest in thought. I couldn't let him melt half of it and throw the rest away. You can give so much to the world by using this to invent more cures for illnesses and feed the hunger.

"Tell you what, you use whatever you want to make new weapons and when you're done, you give the rest to me." I suggested.

Nate glanced in my direction, he seemed confused yet curious.

"Kay. Deal." He finally agreed.

I smiled and looked at the lake. It's shimmering, dark blue waters made me want to swim in them but I knew the water would still be too cold for me to do so.

"I can't wait until summer. Everything gets so much more colour and the Lost Boys and I usually come here to swim." Nate spoke up, following my gaze and staring at the water.

"Well it's spring time, summer is not that far away." I pointed out.

"True, but the wait is too long." Nate and I both chuckled.

He suddenly put his hand on top of mine and my eyes averted to it. My smile faded slightly and I looked up to meet Nate's beautiful blue eyes. They were a brighter blue as the silver moonlight shone upon his face, making them stand out even more.
My heart started to beat faster when I felt Nate's breath upon my face. It stroked my cheeks and forehead, causing my features to soften. Nate's and my eyes never averted somewhere else and I couldn't help but stare at him.

Our foreheads eventually touched and I closed my eyes, waiting for what would come. I felt a tingling sensation in my stomach and my hand felt numb as Nates thumb caressed the skin.
And that's when two oh so soft lips touched mine. In the beginning, it stayed like that, but after a few seconds our lips started to move in sync. Nate's left hand cupped my cheek as he pulled me closer and my hands lay on his chest. We both smiled into the kiss and after a while, we pulled away. Our foreheads touching once again.

The tingling sensation in my stomach had become even bigger and everything around me seemed to spin. I gulped and pulled away, avoiding eye contact with Nate as reality hit me.

"I-I have to go." I stammered and quickly stood up, then, I walked away, towards the camp.

Thoughts ran through my head as my mind replayed the scene that had just happened.

I kissed Nate. And I liked it.....
