PETER
A knock was heard on my cabin door and I groaned, closing my eyes and praying that the person would leave me alone. Just as I thought that the person had left, another knock was heard.
"How many times do I have to punish people until they get the point of not disobeying my bloody orders?!" I yelled as I made my way to my cabin door, opening it with force and looking down on the person standing before me.
"Hopefully you won't have to do that." Said Grace, walking passed me into the cabin.
I sighed, closing the door and turning around to see her sit on my bed, arms crossed over her chest. I looked her up and down. She looked amazing, wearing tight pants and a shirt that showed a bit of her clevage. I gulped, trying to hold my scowl when in reality all I wanted to do was kiss her and hold her.
Snap out of it Peter! A small voice in my head spoke up.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, sternly.
"I'm here to talk some sense into you...again." Grace replied, looking at me with seriousness filling her eyes.
"You don't have to do that." I muttered, looking away.
"Is that so? Well I disagree, you have been an ass to everybody ever since Zen walked back into our lifes. You keep disappearing into that hole to torture him and when you return all you do is scowl and yell. I've tried to talk to you before but you wouldn't listen. Well, listen to me now Pan, you've been sitting here all day whining like a baby. Where's the leader that we all have come to know? Where is the boy I love?" Grace lectured.
I clenched my jaw. She was right. I had been an ass but I only did it because there needed to be change.
"I need to protect you." I replied.
Grace stood up from the bed, walking towards me. I avoided eye contact but felt her hand cup my cheek, turning my head to look at her. Her grey eyes were as magnificent as always and it took me back to the old days. When she was younger and when Jade didn't exist yet. She hadn't grown much. I mean, she did look a bit older but she was still the playful, fiesty Grace I had come to love. Her face had no spots or wrinkles, making her seem younger than she actually was. I remembered the days after she left for Storybrooke with Jade. I was a mess, didn't talk to anyone, didn't eat or sleep.
Felix talked to me eventually. Slapping some snese into me, reminding me that I needed to be a ruler and that I needed to play around with the pirates like always. Even my shadow told me that it didn't recognize me any more. It took some time but eventually, I was back to being the playful boy I used to be. Before Grace. It felt weird, yet familiar."You're a great leader and protector Pan. Just take it easier on yourself, I hate to see you punishing your soul and body." Grace said.
A stabbing feeling took over my body at the sound of my last name. It was a good feeling though, the way she said it always sounded like bells in my ears. I don't know why.
"And what do you suggest I do?" I asked, placing my hands on her hips.
Grace smirked, pulling away and causing me to frown.
"Rule but know that there are limits. Clear your head and think straight, don't let hate cloud your mind." She announced.
"How can I think straight with you being there in every council? Especially when you wear those clothes." I winked.
Grace's cheeks flushed red and I knew I hit a soft spot.
"What is wrong with my clothes?" She asked.
