JADE

My heart was beating fast and my breathing was heavy as I reached the Lost Boy camp. I can't believe I just kissed Nate! And the thing that amazed me most was that I liked it!
I started walking towards my cabin, a grin spread across my face as I played the scene over and over in my head.

All of a sudden, I accidentaly bumped into someone. I quickly apologized and looked up to see Peter look at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"Someone's in a good mood." He stated and I felt heat rise to my cheeks.

Then, a very important memory came rushing back to me, my eyes meeting Peter's once again.

"I need to talk to you." I announced, taking Peter aback slightly.

"Uh, okay...but not here. Follow me." Peter ordered, seriousness taking over him.

I followed him to his tree house and waited till the door was closed. Peter turned to me and motioned me to sit on the window sill, which I did. He crossed his arms over his chest and glanced at me with curiosity.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

I sighed deeply before beginning.

"Well uhm, I kind of got lost tonight and found myself wandering somewhere where I hadn't been before...and I stumbled upon your shadow and-" I started but was cut off by Peter.

"You did what?!" He yelled in anger.

"Calm down grumpy face, it found me, not the other way around." I quickly defended myself.

"No it didn't, for it to find you, you had to be on the dark side!" Peter argued.

"Can you shut up for a moment and listen to me please?" I argued back, annoyance dripping from my voice.

Peter closed his mouth and contained himself as I explained tonight's adventures. I left the whole pirate and tressure situation out though since I knew that it would cause Peter to flip out and I didn't want that to happen.

"But I don't believe it. How can that shadow appear in my dreams if your shadow is the only thing that lives in those dark woods. It doesn't make sense." I finished.

"Look, Jade. Ever since you first told me about these nightmares, and that was before I knew you were my daughter, I have been thinking about telling you this but I wasn't sure if I could trust you enough." Peter started.

I raised my eyebrows but didn't interfere. It was his time to explain.

"And to tell you the truth, I also have encountered this shadow. I have only seen it from up close but it didn't speak, nor did it attack me or anything. Luckily for me, it hasn't visited my dreams since I have the strongest fence of them all. I keep my dreams to myself and the barrier that surrounds them is very, very hard to break." Peter continued.

"And this information is going to help me how exactly?" I wondered.

"I want to find out what it wants, especially now that it interferes in your dreams. I need you to tell me what it says to you and what happens that scares you so much. Maybe we can find a way to stop it from visiting and find out why it's after you." Peter suggested.

I thought about his suggestion. Peter would be the first person, besides my mother and Alek, who would know about my nightmares and what happened in them. It was secret information that I kept to myself. Even my best friends back in Storybrooke didn't know that I was seeing whatever it is I saw. I couldn't trust anyone with this.
But if Peter had seen the shadow too, he could help me out! He was the ruler of the island made of dreams after all, just like Alek said.
