Hello there my loves!!!

So here is the sequel of 'Neverland', called 'Return to Neverland' (yeah,I'm not really good with coming up with book titles) If you haven't read 'Neverland' yet then I suggest you do so because otherwise you won't really know how the story ended up the way it is.

Sooo, I'm super excited to write a sequel and I really hope you'll like it. I already have some great ideas for this story.

For those who have been there from the beginning, welcome back!! How have you been? Good? Good.

Now, enough talking. It's reading time!!!

Love y'all!

Xx

After Graces return from Neverland, things were different for her. She busied herself in her work and made sure that her baby girl grew up like a normal child. Grace never forgot about the place that changed her life though and every night, she would read her daughter the same story. Peter Pan. It was the only story that took her back to the one place that felt like home. The place where the love of her life lived. But her longing to return to Neverland couldn't be fullfilled as she had to stay, just as promised.

The town looked happy and colourful from where I sat. People greeted each other and continued with their work. It was a normal day for Storybrooke which meant that it was boring for me as it never had something fun that I could do.

My name was called and I looked down at my mother who walked into the back yard. Her blonde hair fell on her shoulders and her grey eyes sparkled as always. She looked around and called my name once more.

"Jade!"

Her eyes then fell on the big tree in the middle of the yard. She pursed her lips and walked towards it, standing right under it so that I could have a perfect view of her from above.

"Jade, I know you're in there." She said, trying to sound upset but I could see the small smile on her lips.

Her eyes then met mine and they softened. She motioned me to get out of the tree I was hiding in and I let out a deep sigh. This tree was my spot. I always sat here when I was bored or when I was looking for inspiration or when I just wanted to be left alone to drift off to my own world.

"Everyone can be here any minute now. Come on, get out." My mom ordered and I rolled my eyes.

"Fine." I spat the word out and jumped off the branch I sat on.

I landed perfectly on my feet and when I looked up, I saw my mother smiling to herself.

"What?" I questioned.

"Nothing, you just remind me of someone." She replied and turned around before walking back to the house.

"You always say that when I do something risky or challenging." I argued as I followed her to the back door.

"Well, what am I supposed to say when you ask me the same question with that attitude every time?" My mom said as she picked up a tray with food.

"I remind you of dad, don't I?" I muttered and she froze.

She always does that when I bring up my father. She freezes and tries to avoid the subject every time I ask about him. The only thing I know about him is that he has these emerald green eyes that I have too and that he was an adventurous and brave person. He could also be cocky at times.
