Chapter 5

"Did I forget to introduce myself? I'm Peter...Peter Pan. And this, is Neverland."

I stared at him and blinked a few times when I fully realised what was going on. And then, I burst out laughing.

"Yeah right! And you think I'll believe that?" I laughed.

The boy furrowed his one eyebrow and looked at me with confusion being his only expression.

"I'm being serious here. Gosh why do you girls have the same reaction?" He said, the last part was more like a mumble.

And then the stupid smirk that he held from the beginning of this night returned to his face. I stopped laughing, finding this extremely scary. I mean, this guy just looked confused and all of a sudden he smirks at you. That means that he's up to something!!

Well shit...

"So you say that you don't believe me eh? Just think about it, you and your...friends, played a game and all of a sudden a shadow comes in your room and takes you with it. And after flying for half a night, you end up here. Doesn't that make you think things through?"

Okay, he had a point. Remembering everything perfectly made me realize that whatever this boy was saying was true. If I was just a normal girl this would be hell of a lot harder to believe, but since I live in a town where fairytales are real, this was much easier for me to take in.

I stared in the boys deep, dark green eyes in shock.

"See, am I not right?" He stated in his British accent, chuckling.

I looked away from his eyes, too frustrated to respond. But that wasn't needed, he knew that he was right.

"Now, why don't we return to the camp? I have some business to finish off and I'm sure that you need a good sleep." Peter said.

I could not believe that I had ended up in the only fairytale my mother used to read me every night. My favourite fairytale. Peter Pan.

And he was not like I had imagined him, at all!

Before I could reply to him, we were back at the camp. I felt a bit dizzy and my ears were woozing but Peter held me so that I wouldn't fall.

"I'll bring you to your cabin." Peter suggested.

He led me towards a cabin that stood a bit further away from all the other cabins. Peter opened the door and I looked inside. It was a small but cozy looking home. It had a bed in the middle and next to it stood a dresser with a mirror made of...whatever that was.

Peter pushed me inside and I turned around, glaring at him.

"Sleep, you need it." He ordered and closed the door before I could protest.

I quickly sprinted towards it and tried to open it but it was locked.

"Hey! Let me out!!!" I demanded while banging on the door.

"Please!! Let me go!" I yelled.

But it was no use. I turned around, tears prickling my eyes. Sliding down with my back still leaning against the wooden door, I let the tears flow. Why did I let this happen? Why did I let the boys mess around this much? Adam and Alek were going to pay when I returned. That was for sure.

I woke up by whispers that were heard. I opened my eyes slightly to see two figures stand next to the bed I was laying on.

"Did she recognize you, Pan?" It was Felix.

"No, and she shouldn't. Not until she's twenty. That was the promise." Peter's voice echooed through the cabin.

"How do you know for sure that it's her? She didn't even say her name." Felix asked.

"She looks too much like her. And my shadow wouldn't bring her here if it wasn't sure that she was hers." Peter answered.

"Well...what are we going to do with her?" Asked Felix.

"We have to make her feel more comfortable around us. She's too important for us all."

And that was the last thing I heard before I drifted off to sleep again. Their conversation, burried in my mind. I wasn't going to forget them easily.
