JADE
A whoozing sound filled my ears as my eyes landed upon the figure that pinned Izermo to the ground. Chills ran up and down my spine as we made eye contact. Those eyes haunted my dreams every night. They were what nightmares were made of.
Gasps were heard all around me as the figure's eyes tore themselfs from my own and looked back at the evil shadow. I looked over at Peter who was just as shocked as me. He stood frozen in front of the Lost Boys, staring at the two figures.
"I'll ask you one more time. WHERE IS SHADOW?!" Zen yelled at Izermo who laughed evilly.
"You stand no chance boy. He's already in the real world." Izermo's words stabbed me in my stomach.
A sickening feeling took over me as I was starting to feel lightheaded.
Zen's eyes widened and he let out a battle cry before plunging his dagger in Izermo's stomach, pulling him up so that he was in the air. Izermo spit out a disgusting black, goo-y substance and let out demonic screeches. He then started to vanish as if wind blew his ashes away from Zen's sword.
Zen fell to his knees, panting and silence had taken over the camp. He looked up and around him, before burrying his face in his big hands only to...cry?
Zen started balling his eyes out, tear after tear rolling down his pale cheeks. His shoulders shook and yelps and whimpers resembled that of a small child but came from an almost grown up boy. Zen's black hair was ruffled and his clothes were ripped. You could almost feel sorry for him. He seemed so vulnerable, so fragile, it took all of us by surprise. This was the exact opposite of the Zen we had met weeks ago. The same Zen that knew no mercy and the same Zen that did not hesitate to beat up anything that crossed his path.
"Shadow! You bastard!" Zen shouted up at the sky.
A blast of dark energy was released, sending us all flying back. I crawled up from the ground and saw a purple aura surround him as Zen stared at the ground in silence, his eyes darker than the night sky. They held no emotion in them.
"You bloody asshole!!" Peter yelled, enraged.
He walked up to Zen, immediately kicking him in his chest, sending him to the ground.
"How dare you survive that collapse! How dare you show your face here ever again!!" Peter's yelling took me aback.
I had never seen him this furious. His face was red, his voice was loud and had a scary tone. And his eyes....they were dark and full of emotions. Anger standing out the most.
"You piece of shit!" Peter shouted, kicking and punching Zen's body that did almost nothing to protect itself.
"Peter!" My mother spoke up, running towards him and catchig his fist.
Peter janked his arm back, out of my mother's grasp. A vein popped up from his neck and his eyes never left Zen's face.
"Peter, calm down. There's no use in beating him up." My mother said, holding him by his arm to prevent him from charging at Zen.
"He hurt our daughter. My boys. He killed Troy!" Peter shouted the last part, causing her to whimper slightly.
"He almost killed you." Peter added, his tone softer.
"Chain him up in the hole." He then ordered before walking away to his cabin, leaving us all behind.
Roy, Felix and Theo walked up to Zen and chained his wrists and feet before forcing him to stand and follow them to a big hole that lay a few feet outside of the camp. Peter had shown me it when I first came to Neverland. He said that it used to be a small cave-like thing and that he turned it into his "torture cave". It had barely any sunlight shine into it which caused a low temperature to build up. Peter tortured the prisoners they took from attacks against other creatures on Neverland, trying to make them spill information about his enemies.
