•---Past Leila---•
It was that day. The one that changed everything. I was ten years old and Liam was fourteen I was running around, Liam was chasing me happily as we ran through the forest beside our home. I smile at him, a mischievous look twinkling in my green eyes. They match the color of the trees around me.
"No fair!" Liam calls,"You run faster then me!"
"Who said this was fair!" I call back laughing as I sprint through the woods, my long curly brown hair dancing around me. I loved the woods, The smell of the fresh rain and the trees. I inhaled deeply and sighed. I glanced back, noticing that Liam was no where around. I frown, wondering where he's gone off to.
"Liam? Liaaaam? LIAM?" I call louder each time. No answer. I start to worry as I trace my trail back. I can always tell where I am in the woods. I just think I have a good sense of direction then.
Ha, how wrong I turned out to be.
I find my way back to where I last saw him. I call his name again, with no result. I was about to run back to my house for help when I suddenly hear a loud noise. I gasp and turn around to see a tall guy with black hair and many tattoos. He's tall and he has tan skin. Next to him is a girl with blond hair that has purple streaks in it. They're both almost perfect looking I notice. I see at least twenty people standing behind them, one holding my brother.
"LIAM!" I cry, tears in my eyes as I wonder why these people are holding him.
"This is the girl?" The guy with the tattoos and black hair smirks,"I doubt she'll be any trouble. There's no way she could be the o-" he's cut off as the girl states
"Zayn! You heard what he told us. She IS the one. He told you not to underestimate her! Just get her and let's go!"
The one called Zayn sighs and replies,"Alright. Whatever. You two, grab her." He points to two huge guys who come forward and grab me. I struggle, but I know it's no use. I may be fast, but I'm not strong.
"Leila, it'll be okay! Mom and Dad will help us!" Liam says.
"Ahhh yes. The parents. Almost forgot. You and you. Go take care of the hunters. Quickly, I haven't got all day." Zayn moodily states.
Liam goes pale, realizing what Zayn meant. "NO! Please don't hurt them! They've done nothing wrong! Please let my parents and sister go! Ill do anything!" He cries.
Zayn chuckles. "Sorry lad. Your sister here is important, as are you. Your parents are the leaders of the hunters and if we let them live, they might actually stop us. Don't worry. You and your sister here will be very well cared for."
"Hunters?! What? No our parents are normal!" Liam cried.
"Knock them out Caleb." Was the last thing I heard.
I fell into darkness.
